  1. lol I love the halway scene picture. Good thread, man. Some great info here.
  2. Indeed they are. Send a PM to slavefive and talk to him. : ) Great guy, had an awesome buying experience.
  3. From Lewis: "You can use an emery board to file it down some more…and also a sharp x-acto blade if you want to trim further…"
  4. Also, is anyone going to bother touching up their scopes and if so, how?
  5. Your picture brings up another question of mine....what did you do for the numbers on the counter?
  6. I wondered this myself, I think I will email Lewis and ask if he has ever tweeked his blasters for details like this.
  7. What a great site this is. : ) I just received my Hyperfirm yesterday and one of the first things I thought was, "Hmm....now about that d-ring." haha I figured this was the best way to do it but glad I found confirmation.
  8. Holy hell, I just bought a Hyperfirm and (no offence, Lewis!) now I have blaster envy. lol
  9. Well since you're willing to answer, I've been meaning to ask about all of the stuff on the left side like people's ribbons and badges. Each character has it's own forum to costume credit/badges/earning only show on the respective forums I assume? I mean I have seen people make their own picture banners for themselves displaying their various costumes, therefore displaying their cross costume affiliation. 10. I like the weathering! Lol Never having any experience with anything like this before I was expecting certain details to be different for the price tag l was expecting things like the scope and barrel to be cleaner and more prepped (No offence Lewis! I love the blaster!! Lol) but after further research I came to the conclusion that having it cast off the original model and the fact that it is built to take some trooping I made a good purchase. I am reading threads about customization on the Hyperfirm but I really don't think I am going to mess with it much. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  11. I will have some more pics in the morning uploaded...for some reason Tapatalk isn't cooperating. Lol Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

  13. So my RT-Mod is far from arriving and I had my eye on another costume just so I can actually become a member of the 501st. I was curious, does having multiple costumes cross over in your membership in any way? (Does my question make amy sense? Lol) Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  14. Lol Congrats! I am considering a Mechanical Crewman costume while I am waiting on my RT to get here sometime this year. Haha Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  15. I felt that In should share my excitement. Lol I am doing my first TK build and have ordered almost everything I need. I went with a Hyperfirm blaster as my first blaster (I will test my lack of crafting skills on a Doopy later. Lol) and it will arrive today marking this as officially the first day of this project taking off I suppose!! (My Eastbay body suit pieces arrive tomorrow but those aren't quite as exciting. Haha) *sigh* Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  16. ^ I second this question. All of this anxiety built up to get my armor here and suddenly I am plagued with fear of ruining it on a troop. lol I have however read on a thread or two that it seems that a lot of people feel that normal wear and tear add to a more accurate "battle damaged" look.
  17. I am SO glad that I am frugal with my money and said, "Hmm...before I spend that much I might want to research" when I was looking at the store bought stuff. Whitearmor.net saved me much time, money and most likely tears. lol
  18. So....the higher the E number the stronger and more bad an impolite person the glue will be? lol Notice on E-6100, "repairs concrete". If trooping is as hard on the armor as you all say, would a tougher glue like that be better? lol
