  1. I first rubbed inside the helmet with 400 grit wet and dry sandpaper, gave it a good wipe then used a satin spray paint. Took a few days for the smell to leave the helmet, think it will be better in time. BTW do the painting before you trim so you don't have to mask all the holes . If you get any paint dust on the outside you can just polish it off.
  2. Delete the link and erase from memory
  3. I first converted a habro and made quite a lot of mods but it wasn't up to centruion standards, next a pipe build with some doopy add-ons. Pipe build I didn't find too difficult and was a lot of fun, also it ended up being lighter than my hasbro. I have electrics and lights in both of mine and I found with drilling the holes and attaching the t tracks you get to see the lights in the gaps, don't with a full resing kit. Doopy do a full resin kit which I have heard is quite easy to put together but there are issues with its strength. Good luck what you decide.
  4. Rubbing down bondo is such a pain, especialy in those corners and tight spots, got your work cut out for you. Keep up the good work, you will get there in the end
  5. You and me both, if I don't go crazy waiting for it to turn up first LOL
  6. Really depends which area, if you have to straight pieces that will be need to be glued together then I would glue it first then try heating and bending, sometimes you need to bend a section to get the straight lines. I have been told that the e6000 glue is quite easy to remove if you make a mistake when glueing. Good Luck.
  7. Just be carefull with the heat gun, there is a point were the plastic goes from pliable to extra soft. You can tell when it is warm enough because you can move it with a small amount of pressure, make sure when it is in the right spot to hold until it cools down, wont' take long. You can also use a hairdryer if your afraid of too much heat. Good Luck be waiting for some pics
  8. But it is very cool, bet it will cost quite a lot too

  15. I have built a hasbro with lots of mods but not good enough for centurion, just completed a pipe build with a few doopy add-ons, bit heavier that the hasbro but lots more details. You can build a basic blaster or go mad with everything you can fit into it, the choice is yours.
  16. Hi there, I used a 5 minute epoxy glue for mine, some bondo for the gaps
  17. I mounted mine on brackets to the hovi mics, seemed ok, lots of air and lots of room

  19. Had been thinking of this one, didn't know anyone else was, thought of using a white silicone to make the plate and have switches underneath, think it would be awesome
