you can also use 1" webbing for snap plates - just poke a hole through for the snap. I used an old saudering iron for doing that. make the webbing about 2" long and just put glue on the ends, not the snap itself.
Thanks for answering my questions - hell, if you can balance the l/r hearing I'll never take my helmet off!
Of course if I did that, i'd never be able to use the 'selective hearing' excuse I give my wife when I tell her i didn't hear what she said...
I used the office depot brass paperclips for my cod rivet. the ones on the left side I got from Trooperbay and installed using Locitus' method above. Of course I made the mistake of painting them first, which didn't fare so well when the pliers came out . Keep it up - you're almost there!
I really need the external mics - i'm completely deaf in one ear and if I put a fan in my bucket, well...you'd have to hit me with a Ghaffi stick to get my attention (or walk by in a Slave Leia outfit ).
I would be interested to see the external mic/internal speakers used along with the iComm/Aker setup. Would feedback be an issue using all those electronics in such close proximity, or would the use of an amplified voice cancel out any benefit of the mic/speaker setup?
the fun part of that is the passers-by on the street/sidewalk - comforts some of my neighbors to know that the Empire has secured the area & keeps out Rebel Scum
I bought some track for a screen door and cut it down for the T-tracks. You should be able to find it at a home improvement store (not sure if ya'll have Home Depot/Lowes over the pond ).
Thank you sir! I'm working on the bicep adjustment...it's a matter of getting the snap plate between that & the shoulder in *just* the right place, so it is being taken care of. I'll also see what I can do about the TD - I appreciate all of your and everyone elses feedback!
Speaking of 'move along, move along', if the TDs had done their job instead of letting some old man bedazzle them...well, things would have ended differently
I really enjoy reminding the Sandys in my Squad of that...
I'm pretty sure that the Dave M decals are the only ones available for the 'hand painted' look. They are what I have on mine for my pending Centurion application.
Again - thanks for the clarification. I got a little carried away once I had the new decals applied & have been anxious to try for Centurion ever since getting my EIB approval . I appreciate you being direct about what is required. I certainly don't want the approval of my submission to start a 'trend' of you getting everyone's EIB pictures all over again that don't reflect all the changes/upgrades in their armor when they go for Centurion.
