Just remember the simple things: 1) put on neck seal first with undersuit 2) thighs should go on before everything else 3) then boots 4) shins 5) the rest *** DON'T FORGET TO SNAP THE COD STRAP ***

I understand mate. And to be fair, there were two types of zombies in the book. Those that caught the airborne virus, and those who were attacked, eaten and killed... As I said above, and I don't mean to argue or try to cause a stir up or whatnot, but I am going to enjoy the gory version this Halloween and then consider what I can do to possibly remove the extra blood. I guess the issue then, would be the exposed guts. I bought prosthetics from Halloween and special effects shops. I love the look. Not sure there's a way to clean that up.

As to the CRL, all of my "wet" appearing blood is actually mostly cut armor with protruding prosthetic wounds. ex. chest, belt, face, arms, legs. The rest are dremel scratches with black paint, touched up with a line of scabbed "dried" blood. - It's Ben Nye Fresh Scab. Maybe I should not have used my iPhone to take pics? I understand the CRL. I have read it. BUT, the author, in my humble opinion, had a different idea in mind. See quote above from author. I'm a horror movie and zombie fanatic. I have my clean TK (expert) and I will consider cleaning my Death Trooper (which I can't really even imagine I will ever be sending anyone at Star Garrison a "can I wear my DT to a function?" anyway) as requested for approval. Respectfully, I completely disagree with the CRL. You can also read the quotes from the book above. To me, the CRL reads like, "Kill your TK, but don't really kill him. Just make him look cracked and old." Beyond that, getting a response like this: "I personally hate the idea of this costume and feel it only has a place at AllCon or DragonCon as a freakshow item. I'd leave any event where this costume shows up and children are present. But my opinion is not relevant, it's an LMO approval costume anyway, so the two LMO's will judge and approve it. I'll just be acting as the go-between." - is unacceptable... Respectfully, TK9727

NEED HELP BUILDING MY HELMET

Panda's threads are second to none. There may be others, but this should be a good starting point: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/14806-how-to-assembling-ata-abs-helmet-1/ -
Snap Plates - Plastic or Nylon?
YouCantBe Sidious replied to TK-42779's topic in Assembly, Mods, and Painting
Plastic can crack under pressure. Looks pretty though! Nylon has been my preferred method and it has worked very well for me! -
webbing and elastic
YouCantBe Sidious replied to stormtrooper_build's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
I only use elastic on parts that I want or don't mind flexing, like the shoulder bells strap that connects under your shoulder (armor) straps. Everywhere else I used webbing, because it keeps the connections from stretching. - Places like thighs, where I didn't want the thigh armor to bounce up and down like a yoyo when I walked... -

Sith Acolyte (Work-in-progress)
YouCantBe Sidious replied to bigironvault's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
You can see that I have glued one side of the thighs and lower legs, but have used velcro on the other. I have done that because the robe/cloak will cover the back sides and you won't be able to see it, plus if I ever decide to sell it, it's still at the original size and will fit anyone... -
Sith Acolyte (Work-in-progress)
YouCantBe Sidious replied to bigironvault's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
The chest piece is good, side to side. I do think that the acolyte may have more between the chest and ab piece. Maybe that's part of the undersuit? I don't know. Here's some pics I quickly took this morning, before heading out the door:
