  1. Great looking bucket, looks like you went a few rounds with a wookie.
  2. Around and doing very well. I'll try to find out when this episode airs and let everyone know.
  3. Yep, thanks Tyler. Needed white for the shoot. When are you able to troop again? How is your ankle doing?
  4. That's awesome! You got him the Coke! I laughed so hard at that part.
  5. Trooping the DK-Star Wars reads day event at our Barnes&Noble. Afterwards the owner of the PF Changs asked if we could come over to visit with the customers.
  6. One day after the filming for Chad Vader we were honored to be able to join Weird Al on stage for his performance. It was a great experience and meeting Weird Al was awesome! He is a great guy, very down to earth and thanked us for coming out for his concert. I'll post pictures when I get them.
  7. The Wisconsin Garrison was asked to help out with the filming of Chad Vader's season finale. Everyone had a great time and the crew of Chad Vader were awesome. We spent several hours in costume doing multiple shots, could not use my TK Commander for this one so I donned a shiny white for this shoot. In this episode Chad Vader has enlisted the 501st to straighten out the store. Adjusting the volume on my mic. Hey is that George in the background?
  8. I believe Death Trooper takes place about 9 years BBY, so that would be very strange to have them carry a ROTJ E-11. Loved the book, Red Harvest is excellent as well.
  9. I guess it would be for your average consumer/collector. People that are not aware that it is not accurate and just wants a piece to display.
  10. I would never get one, but did find it interesting that they made a TKC.
  11. I was browsing Evilbay and ran across this.. eBay
  12. The Incinerator build is very similiar to the TKC build, and I used the ATA kit to reach Centurion level. It took some modification but it can be acheived with any armor kit, it just depends on how much time you want to put into it. ======
  13. After sculpting the extension I also used modelling putty to fill in the seam and sanded it smooth so it looked natural, not like I added an extension. I then painted it a gloss white, then weathered it with the rest of the armor. With your height I would not suggest going with ATA for your main armor build. Using parts like the helmet and belt would work.
  14. Derrek, while not nearly as tall as you I'm sitting at 6'2" I went with a ATA kit it also has a seperate kidney/butt plate and I also considered going with CFO for a replacement piece. What I eventually did was fuse my butt plate to my kidney plate. I used a fairly thick piece of ABS that I acquired from a hobby shop and cut it to the size I needed, then using a heat gun I shaped it to fit the curve of my butt/kidney plate and glued the two halves together. I made sure that the backing piece that I used was strong and gave plenty of surface area for the glue to adhere too so that it would be strong and stand up to trooping without giving me any trouble. Many a troops in now, including games of tag and gun battles with kids and it has not even budged. As for the belt the ATA kit comes with the buttons that you glue onto the belt, so all I had to do was not glue the center one on. I can't remember which makers have the buttons already molded on. I did go with Vaderdave for the buttons, I also had ordered extra from him so that I could add the extra button that runs vertical on your AB plate. What I did there to add the fifth vertical button was use sculpting putty and extended the vertical buttons an extra spot. Hope this helps, if you have any further questions feel free to throw me a PM.
  15. One concept art I seen would have had all the TKs carrrying lightsabers and shields.
  16. Congratulations! I agree the boots do look great, and the painted boots are accurate. It was a suggestion to help reduce upkeep. Again welcome to EI.
  17. Overall the build looks great, only two small things I would take care of and they are pretty minor fixes, these fixes would help sharpen your great armor. I would shorten the TD clips so they are not so long and extend that far past your belt. The other is your boots, they look good but I see that you painted boots that were black to white, your shin armor has started to rub the paint away from your boots. I would invest in a pair of TK boots and not have to worry about constant upkeep and repainting your boots after every troop. I also agree on your thighs, I would tighten them up a bit. I think it would really help in comfort and give you a more trimmed look.
  18. Yep, stunt lid. Looking forward to seeing your TKC build.
  19. That is a Commander, the artist may have missed the arm,leg markings but I would bet that is what he was trying to get across that it was a commander. I would not think there would be a different commander for Sandtroopers. They are to be able command troopers and shadowtroopers alike. This has got my vote all the way!
  20. Wow! That's pretty cool! Looking at it on my phone so can't see it real well. But it's got my interest. I'd wear the pauldron and carry a dewback prod stick.
