Looking good Ingrid! I will have to make sure to triple check my armor before the next troop, as I surely do not want to face your Imperial wrath! Congrats on the Centurion as well.
Chris
Ingrid, I have a Hyperfirm and I got my " D ring " from trooperbay and I had to do basically what you described. Cut it into a "C ring" and then drill holes on each side of the knob on the back of the blaster. It worked out pretty well.

I have a DLT-19 from Lewis ( slave five ) that i am looking to sell. $275.00 shipped if you are interested. Never been trooped with, I have only had it for a couple of months.

I did the Trooperbay stencils and they worked great. He also sells all four colors of Humbrol paint that you will need for the kit as a set. I also agree that it should be hand painted for Centurion. Its not that hard.
Chris
Either one will work, I used a heat gun on low. Just start out slowly and you will see the tube start to shrink way before the you have a problem with the wires.
Chris
Yes, they are very handy. But be carefull with them as they can pinch as previously stated and they will chip or break completely if you let them come together to hard.
Chris
I ordered mine last November and it took about 8-9 weeks to get. I was able to get the helmet first and complete it. I can say that it is worth the wait. Have patience and take your time with the build and you can easily get EIB right out of the box.
Chris
I trimmed the " return edge " off from both the thigh and waist belts. It made it very easy to bend with a little heat. There are a few threads around with more detail though.
Chris
Thank you all for the great advice and helping so many of us achieve the "dream". If it were not for all of the awsome people here at FISD this woud not have been possible. Sincere thanks!
Chris
And they have to be adjusted for each performer, the eyes are also not lens like material they are more like the other "toons" that walk around. They are like a black almost fabric like material.
