  1. I've been to the doopydoos site and did not see anything on the pipe build. All I could find was the resin conversion kit for the hasbro blaster. Did I not look hard enough?
  2. I stand corrected, the helmet I ordered is an RT-Mod. This won't be a problem will it?
  3. Tom, I am afraid you have opened a pandora's box. I just looked a little bit through Amazon at The Making Of Star Wars. It took some will power to not reach for my wallet. I do thank you though, as now I have something to add to the "wish list."
  4. You guys think that this may be the key to opening the EU to film?
  5. So the last thread I have read about 501st armor requirements for the TKC was dated in 2009. I have ordered an AP helmet and plan on ordering a FX kit for the armor. Was just wondering if the 501st was still running with the idea that all that was needed was a paint job?
  6. My vote is on Disco Steve
  7. Is UKG the only garrison that does this?
  8. I know that when my kit arrives I am going to have an armor piece in one hand and the laptop in the other. Print outs will be a major time saver
  9. That big guy with the blonde mullet reminds me of Brock Sampson from The Venture Bros.
  10. Can't wait to see how it turns out!
  11. If I wasn't in the process of acquiring some TK armor I would be buying a Blu-ray player right about now.
  12. I myself only have about 2 weeks experience on the FISD forums and am still considered a "newbie." I would recomend a couple of things from what I have learned. 1) Find your local garrison (can do this by going onto the 501st Vaders Fist website). They will be able to help you for sure. And, on another plus side, should be in your local area. That way you can attend any upcoming events and meet the members in person. That would be an ideal time for questions. 2) From what I have heard and read, an FX kit is good for someone who is a beginner and strapped for cash. From what I understand 85-90% of the legion wears FX armor and it is accepted. If you want to upgrade or "mod" your armor it is possible to do so. There are other armor types out there such as: AP, AM (a more specific FX type), but as I mentioned before I am still new and learning the differences. 3) Some of the acronyms you will see floating around: TK (Stormtrooper), TKC (Stormtrooper Commander), EIB (Expert Infantry Badge) Don't be afraid to ask any question, no matter how minor. It could save you money in the end. READ READ READ everything you can find among the forums. I hope this was at least some help and if you have any questions please don't hesitate. Josh
  13. Impressive...Most Impressive
  14. Thanks guys. I'm having one of those Aha! moments
  15. Oh and TB was another one that I didn't know
  16. I apologize in advance for all of the questions but I need to know. Been reading through a lot of the forums and I keep running across them and for the life of me some of them aren't clicking for me. So here it goes: WHat does EIB, TK, RL I would imagine ANH is A New Hope ESB is Empire Strikes Back ROTJ is Return of the Jedi. Again I apologize for the noobie questions.
