  1. im at a week waiting for LMO to approve. my GML approved it really quick, i guess the elections are slowing things down a bit. Im hoping it comes soon.
  2. yah im gonna return it today, and probably gonna find a quick subsitute. I probably going to be ordering a aker amp soon.
  3. Just found if i unvelcro my thigs and take them off i can sit!!!
  4. hey i just got this amp: ----------- i know its a cheaper amp, and do plan on upgrading to a better one eventually I noticed it has a larger mic input jack than normal, and was wondering what anyone else has used. THANKS
  5. What happened was that they are velcroed on, and i didnt notice till afterwards that they were a little off in their placement
  6. thanks the next time i see you ill bring it all with me.
  7. i sanded it down with 80 or 60 grain cant quite remember. maybe they werent clean enough before the glue was applied
  8. ya that was gonna be my next plan, i was thinking i could use a combo of velcro and zap a gap. Its the snap plate it self popping off (glue not holding), and i love that all purpose cement works great on most of the armor, but cant use it anymore, theres one small spot where to started to warp the outside of the armor.
  9. Thanks allready in should be approved by tommorrow or the next day!! Im also gonna be getting a radio shack amp and ptt cable on friday
  10. ya in perticular its the thigh plates, iam gonna have to try inbetween the two current snaps, the 1st was a little too long making me walk funny since the front of the thigh was a little too low, and the new one snaps off. Thanks again for the quick answers, just wasnt sure if it was common place to have snaps come off everytime you try on your armor. hophelly ill be going to my 1st trooping soon
  11. heres some finished pics:
  12. Allright so i have seen tons of videos of people in armor walking around and such, i have just recently finished my armor, held together by every glue out there. I have noticed that my snap plates keep poping off, and that the thighs make walking look a bit awkard, and was wondering if everyone has the same issues? It feels like if i were to walk any decent amount it might break apart thanks for the answers
  13. thats pretty funny
  14. all right helmet is done, so there shall be some full gear pics coming soon...
  15. about 6 hrs later helmet is almost done, just some painting and installing the s neck trim left heres some pics (srry bout pic quality) the only problem i ran into is the bottom not quite linning up, should i trim it even, and glue it together to attach the s-trim? heres the pic it hard to see but the area under the ear doesnt line up, and since everythingelse pretty much lines up right expect theres a slight gap on one ear, im not looking to take it apart and re-esemmble it.
  16. Well it is what it is, a little too late to change it.
  17. I figured i wouldnt rivet them on, so that they could be removable if needed. Oops.
  18. will do, i hope they slide over enough. I decided to not rivet them on and place them inside of the two outer rivets on the belt. Thanks
  19. Ya srry bout thesideways pic even if i fix them in photobucket they still post sideways for some reason. lol
  20. heres updated pic of everything but holster which is on its way, and helmet which is on its way: Ill make sure to adjust the shoulder bells for submission pics
  21. has anyone tried this stuff or something like it? http://www.northernautoparts.com/ProductDetail.cfm?ProductId=2595 it works on cars, and washes off with soap and water. If it does work it would be great to go from regular storm trooper to incinerator or commander for the weekend.
  22. Thanks for the answer ill be rubbing my tk boots with newspaper.
  23. hophelly a helmet build, and handplate sewing away from centurian.
  24. thanks for the quick answer belt is done. I have one more question. For the centurian status one requirment is to have boots that are lightly scuffed. Whats the best way to do this? Thanks
