  2. heres the first pic http://www.flickr.com/photos/70071331@N02/sets/72157628056172149/
  3. Thanks for that info i have decided to do a ESB build but still need to order the handle with selecter switch, I just cant seem to be able to make one. lol
  4. It bends really well with heat. I figure ill give it a try and keep everyone posted. If all goes well i was going to use 1" section of square pvc for the shoulder plate of the folding stock.
  5. http://www.amazon.com/NSF-61-Square-Tubing-0-060-Length/dp/B000PHEZCM/ref=sr_1_4?s=industrial&ie=UTF8&qid=1321413057&sr=1-4 I figured rather than buying metal to fold it into the right shape why couldnt a person just use this stuff?
  6. its just a matter of convincing the misses of the overseas bit. lol
  7. Kay got the point. I just wont have the E 11 in the photos for acception. I was just trying to find a cheap fix for a hengstler counter since they are pretty expensive. Ill just finish the project and exculsively use it for cons. Just wasnt sure about it because of the wording in the CRL. Sorry I just knew i needed a hengstler counter for an E11 if i was gonna use it in my application photos for ANH Stunt (expert infantry status) I am planning on making/assembling every aspect of the armor to the proper specs for the standards for that class I would just get the doopy doos plastic one but am not really confurtable enough with overseas ordering. And for the record I was not trying to bash the standards of the 501st
  8. im just gonna take the guts out of that counter and than instert the guts into the wooden hengstler counter that im making based on the measurements posted.
  9. I was wondering what everyone thought i know the real counter has 6 but since the crls only ask for a counter based off the hengstler, would that mean the having just three number slots be approved ? cause that pedometer only cost me 9 bucks. And thanks alot for the measurments so far!
  10. this is the counter I got its gonna go inside of thecounter box. Im planning on making one out of wood than painting it to look like metal.(which is why i need the measurements)
  11. the counter im gonna get only have 3 number slots do you think thats really gonna matter.
  12. I was wondering if anyone could provide me with the measurments of their Hengstler Counter? im gonna need width, depth, height, as well as the size of the inlay with the eagle logo, size of spot for the numbers, and the bars on the back side on the top, bottom and sides. Also how many numbers are there suppose to be? thanks
  13. I was wondering if anyone who has experence in scratch building an E-11 with the temps and sheet metal, happened to be living in the orange county area of NY and willing to assist me in building one. Thanks you can pm me
  14. srry tone thorugh text doesnt work really well i wasnt trying to imply you didnt know the crls just wanted to not getting bashed for using a weapon on the hero set in stunt armor, if i were to plan on going that route.
  15. I just think im gonna go with the stunt, and save up for the E 11 and go for the expert infantryman status.
  16. According to the 501st CRLS though HERO: Optional Accessories Items below are optional costume accessories. These items are not required for approval, but if present must meet the guidelines below. BlasTech E-11 Based on a real or replica Sterling sub-machine gun, scratch-built, or a modified commercial toy Stormtrooper blaster. Folding stock (does not need to function). A real or replica ammo counter - based off of a Hengstler counter - shall be present. D-ring mounted on the rear. Correct style scope. Two power cylinders on the magazine housing. Scratch-built, resin cast, Hyperfirm rubber cast blasters shall have a total of 6 T-tracks on blaster (leaving the lowest row on the magazine housing side uncovered). If using the Hasbro E11 toy blaster and you cover all the rows of holes, the blaster will have 7 T-tracks total. But, if you want to have the correct number of T-tracks (6 total) with the lower row of open vent holes on the magazine housing side, then you shall cover the pre-existing rows of holes with T-tracks, and grind off the lower integrated T-track on the magazine housing side and drill a new row of holes in its place. No ESB/ROTJ greeblies are allowed on the blaster. Hasbro blasters are not allowed, even conversions. BlasTech DLT-19 Heavy Blaster Rifle Based on a real or replica MG-34 machine gun A DLT-19 is an MG-34 with T-tracks on the barrel, ejection port cover added, and a small disk on left side. Grappling Hook/Comlink Grappling hook and comlink (the grappling hook and comlink should be substituted as a set in the place of the thermal detonator, not worn in addition to it). BlasTech SE-14R The SE-14R blaster was only seen on promotional pictures. It should have a correct scope if carried in lieu of the E-11 for informal events. Stormtrooper Lightsaber The TK lightsaber should be as accurate, as seen in Ralph Mcquarrie’s concept illustrations for the movie script entitled: “Star Wars” or originally known as” The Star Wars” The lightsaber has a white or clear blade. It may be carried for informal events only. Stunt: Optional Accessories Items below are optional costume accessories. 17. i was originally thinking about using that voice changer with a small 9 volt powered amp i found at radioshack and just plugging it into the mic slot.
  18. Is there any reason why this voice changer wouldnt work to get that over the radio sound effect? http://www.amazon.co...19516313&sr=8-2
  19. Now realizing the domed lenses for the hero thinking ill just go with stunt. I have till january to decide since im just getting the armor in dec.
  20. Using the ATA armor is it easier to do ANH STUNT or ANH HERO. I was planning on doing ANH HERO primarly due to the wider selection of 501st approved weapons. Though if it is easier to do the stunt ill just go with that and wait a long time till i can get the E11 blaster. Thanks for any comments ahead of time.
  21. heres a link for an E 11 handle thats really cheap. could be used as a replacement handle for the doopydoos kit for a more realistic look. http://www.gunpartsc...400&catid=10466
  22. Ended up not working for me so im probably going to be buying the plastic kit for the pvc pipe. Thanks
  23. Thanks found a can in the house shall be trying this soon. Man if this works its gonna be a like a 30 dollar e-11 and when im done with each part i shall be posting pics. The only thing im not sure as to the best way to make one is the ammo counter.
