  1. Pix of this?
  2. The ANH lids have a certain charm from being wonky, and so do the ROTJ lids, it's just that they're an acquired taste.
  3. I figured they were attached by mounting screws on pieces of plastic to be welded to the inside of the ears with plastic weld, not unlike Keith's mentioned method.
  4. I guess polishing unpainted HIPS is risky?
  5. I have looked into this and you would need a tiny condenser microphone mounted on the ears + a preamp for it.
  6. Looks like a nice lid too, if that's your kind of trooper
  7. http://www.filthwizardry.com/2010/10/milk-jug-storm-trooper-helmet.html This one looks marginally better, and is free too!
  8. Thanks for this guide, I'm looking forward to finally receiving my helmet and getting started
  9. I'm gonna go for relatively shiny at first. Don't know how much I'll be wearing mine, but the nicks and scratches show a lived-in armor, and that's important.
  10. Found it on USPS under "Display ALL options". Suddenly alot cheaper I don't need 1-3 day shipping
  11. This is armor only. No lid. What shipping agency and what kind of shipping? All the website quotes are ridiculously expensive.
  12. I'm examining prices and find that shipping a box of armor in an 18x18x18" container is very pricy. 300-500$ I've had items shipped to me previously at rates of ~$100. I've checked UPS, USPS, FedEx and DHL. The best option seems to be JetCarrier.com at ~$200. Any advice on getting it cheaper?
  13. I think ATA is your best bet.
  14. Are you going for the "canon" zombie build or something different? I love the green grime with metal teeth. Yes!
  15. As in non-wonky I didnj't mean symmetrical, I meant wonky like ANH/ESB, but not as wonky as ROTJ. Should have specified that. I'm gonna use CAP-W.
  16. Is a non-wonky/non-collapsed ROTJ lid acceptable for EIB?
  17. What's the story behind the color scheme?
  18. Then you´re not as much sanding down as you are rubbing away.
  19. 5' 11" and 233lbs points in the RT-mod/AM direction.
  20. Click add reply and two buttons to the right of the face is a polaroid picture. Click that one and paste the link to your .jpg. so that it ends up looking like [img=http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5128/5277846074_ccb393ed81_b.jpg] Looks good! How tall are you?
  21. Yes, either that or do outdoor photos. Our eyes adapt very well to indoor lighting, so we don't see the huge difference there really is.
  22. Low level indoor lighting.
