  1. Your rants are more than welcome, as lies spread around the world fast, even before the truth has had time to put its boots on.
  2. Honored to have you voice the facts of this issue, mr Muir. Edit: Link to the facebook page http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=367062635069
  3. DId you really read the case? The case won was not about whether or not he sculpted the originals, but if he was allowed to sell them. Numerous times it is stated that he couldn't possibly have sculpted the molds.
  4. I have a cooling ridge on my TE2 lid, maybe I'll do this cover treatment when repainting.
  5. Yes I did, they are quite nice.
  6. I've sent the additional photos requested with my application for the 501st. Here's a shot of me I did to show off my new blaster It's a great build by Woodchuck, based off of the bryar pistol from the Dark Forces game series by LucasArts. He really put an effort into seeing that the blaster was accurate to the references I gave him, and was done alot earlier than I had ever anticipated. became
  7. His claims of having made ~200 on used screen designs is ridiculous.
  8. That's what I'm going to do if my crack starts acting up. Right now it's along an edge and not really noticeable.
  9. I like the heavy evidence brought forth by bondservnt in these two most recent posts.
  10. What material is your kit? Do you have a photo? I had a piece of my TE2 chest piece split, I reinforced the back of the split with a piece of plastic clamp glued to stop it splitting further. The split was so narrow that I just had to polish it down a bit. It still might be noticeable, but I'm not gonna do more intrusive repairs unless it gets larger.
  11. I deleted my cache and now it's fine again =)
  12. I have the same problem.
  13. I think 3D scanning is a too expensive process, and there is a good amount of hours in cleanup needed only to make molds that again have to be molded.
  14. News to me. Very nice!
  15. I used a rust covering enamel paint with a hammered metal effect. There were some fumes but now, 1 month later, they have disappeared.
  16. That gap is imo negligible. I would keep the build as neat as possible and not shim.
  17. I was about to send my final 501st application, but after I got out of the suit I forgot that I hadn't taken the side photos. Draaaats.
  18. I look like some rebel scum has donned armor.
  19. If my 6'3" butt isn't Centurion certified I'm gonna find my chainsaw.
  20. This looks very nice. If those are the first ears you've trimmed, I'm quite impressed.
  21. I forgot that I've completely forgotten to post pics. Here's my hasbro blaster. My next will be a doopydoo's pvc pipe kit for ESB.
  22. I also FINALLY ordered some e6000 along with some decals to go with my ESB lid. Double checked that I did in fact press check out One thing I noticed, beating those snap buttons tight was alot easier with a star shaped screwdriver than the tool that came in the kit.
  23. My ATA has yet to sell, and paycheck's arrived so I think I'll keep it =) I've searched high and low for leather retailers in Norway only to find that one has to buy gross, starting at 10' square. However, I found some tan leather scraps and have got an old leather jacket that I don't wear because it's too stiff. It has now been butchered and the result is this: It's not perfect but I had fun building it, the rough edge on the left side will get some sewing machine stitching done to make it look a bit tidier. Gonna use the rest of the leather to make a holster for my Bryar pistol.
  24. And that the photos you're using for reference has proper white balance.
