  1. Am good brother! It all depends on which lid you've got. I used 10mm nuts. As long as they're small enough and lay flush with the inside of the sockets, you could always put some styrene tubing cut to length below the nut, mounted in resin putty....if that makes sense? Marc
  2. Will let you know.. it comes charged, but I'm going to fit the rest of my gubbins and then test it. Both are usb charged and the kit comes with a split charger to charge both at the same time, which is good. Need to buy some of those plug sockets with USB chargers built in for all my gizmos! Marc
  3. So whilst others have been enjoying Telford, I had more work to do on my lid. I decided to rip out all the old tech and start over. Lined the lid black. Then decided on a red theme for the interior detail. Next will be to install the wireless mic system Hearing assist (with a little more modding) And then on to swapping out the fans for 5v ones Marc
  4. Update on the blaster trunk. I began this in readiness for an up coming troop. However I have managed to source an alternative (depending on the size ) so this is now a project which will be handed over to my boy. Paint application went OK, but, no matter what I do, the paint won't key. Plan is to clear lacquer it heavily once done. White panels are self adhesive PVC. Red felt lines the recess. Next up is the lid, varnish and decals. Marc
  5. Making great progress trooper, you'll be done in no time! Marc
  6. Today I began working on my blaster transportation trunk. Here's what we have so far. Next up foam in the lid and than the paint job. Now what to do with this?? Marc
  7. Looking good! The tiny gap at the side of you kidney and ab will be covered once you pull your belt up to sit below the ab button plate Marc
  8. Here's my snap system. I went for doubles Marc
  9. Here's my back plate too with minimal return Marc
  10. Not sure about the square part. Someone else will have to chime in. However, I'd get rid of the return edge, otherwise that's gonna cut you in places you won't like! Marc
  11. If you can extend the elastic shoulder bridges then this will help the back plate drop down a little. Also I'd look at removing some of the return edge on the neck part of the back plate. Marc
  12. Saw this on FB Rob. Looks AWESOME! Marc
  13. Those who know me, know that the last six months of 2016 have not been the best. However, I'm feeling stronger than ever, and thanks to the support I've had from my amazing lady Jo, the boy, and close friends (you know who you are!) Along with new friends I've met (who don't even realise that they've helped - and you have!) I begin an new chapter in my life starting tomorrow. Thank you all #excited! Marc
  14. Decals fitted. Only the ID plate and clips to sort. Oh and the cheeky bloody cat! Marc
  15. Can't argue with you there! Still think an inch higher would help. Marc
  16. Like Jorge says with drop boxes on and IMHO raising them about an inch, I think you could get away with them. Marc
