I lost about 10 pounds this last month from cycling, and about 1 this week from not eating like I had been... Although most of my "Mouth" weight I lost is in the way I am with people. I can sometimes be to harsh, and judging. I have had alot of rethink time this week. Its going to stick.

I am way better today. All the stiches came out, and I have a full good report from the Doc. He even said I am "healing like a mutant" That made my inner geek laugh a little. I am feeling good enough to start in again on the MRCE, I have a good cause to make this bad boy shine for. I am lucky to be here, and I want to be a part of something bigger than me for a change. I have had a pretty good change of heart. I also went back to church to thank the big guy. I need to be on a better level with him. Some of you might have noticed the name change. I am feeling like a new guy, and I do think it is time to move away from runnriottt. The biggest unsung hero in the last week has been my wife. Things are really good for us now. Thanks for all the kind works over the last week. I wish I could get you all a Budwiser.

Could contact your local garrison, express intrest in helping out an upcoming troop. Be costume support, and give your time to an event. You will get lots of insight on wearing the rig as well...

IIRC Disney makes all armor in house, and have a tight control on what gets out. Kinda like LFL in a way, you arent going to see that armor anytime soon for sale. With the money disney has, I can imagine that they have a few vac form machines... LOL...

As a Machinist, having molds CNC would be great to see. Those molds would last eons. Wow. I am prettysure you will be having to enter tons of programming by hand. I am not sure if a full armor set has been scanned, and if so, wouldnt be out to the public. Maybe Rubies got one for the new costume,(no matter how bad, never know) and MR I believe got a scan to do there helmets. (still not right...lol) If you nail the details and get a set of CNC molds, that might set things 'round here on its ear. The bucks would be 1 to 1. The computer would allow for the thickness of the plastic, and you would have a true copy of a screen lid. Wow. Maybe even armor. I can see a set of shiny aluminum bucks... Dude. I for one totaly cant wait to see the outcome. I wonder who is going to call you a recaster... LOL... Can you recast true data? The sorce of the numbers would be the key here. If the sorce is a tour suit, thats what you will get. If the sorce is a screen suit, then bingo. Problem is how to get the numbers. If it is off of a fan made, then I am sure the word recast will be used to flail you into submission. Intended or not. But if you could get a sorce outside of the known realm? Totaly new game. You will be entering into much fought over stats man. Not to many have held the true movie parts. You would have a truly new sorce of armor in those bucks, If your sorce is right. A fan made has all the things you love about a fan made, the artist, the time, etc... But a computer made would be as wonky of as perfect as you want it. Best of luck.

I used only 2 rivits in the whole suit. Only on the knee plate to shin mount. My next build might have 5 total, 3 to sim the screen used ones in ESB, but that is still up in the air for Elite, I have to ask the question. Bottom line, the fewer the better.

I am getting around better and its easier to sit in one spot as well. All the bandages came off today, and the Doc said I am well on my way to healing up. I still cant open my mouth all the way, so I dont talk much. They might have to rebuild my mouth corner a little with a skin graph. Still dont know. There is a reason I am still here. I am taking every day for what it is worth. Got my bike back to day as well. Only need to replace the top ring on the tripple. No other damage. I am amazed. Thank you everyone for the great thread. It helps to read words of kindness. The world isnt so unfreindly that way.

I know I feel that there are a group of freinds here. Even though most of us will never meet other than typing on a message board, I feel freinds here. Thank you all for your words, It does mean alot. My family has all been helping me, and I wont be taking the small things for granted anylonger. It is a blessing to be here every day you can. I have a goal, to be ready for CJ, Doc says I might be able to do that. I am setting smaller goals, not lofty ones...LOL... I still have my humor... I am better today with all the pain meds in me... LOL... Dudes, when you venture out today, and drive to where ever you are going... Look out for that Cyclist. We aint got seat belts... I only remember flashes of light off the motor bike that whacked me, but he was in the middle of the road on his way to me when we collided almost head on at about 25-30 mph. I cant remember hitting the ground, but I am prettysure I endoed, and was thrown about 20 feet. I have about 10 minutes of black out memory loss. Medic here said if I hadnt been waring my helmet I would not be here today. So, a sprained shoulder, two busted up knees and hands, deep cuts really, and road rash. I got about 50 stitches in my and on my face, but should recover fully. I am in good spirits, but in alot of pain. They gave me the good stuff to combat that. God was watching me. This has changed me truly. It has been a gut checking 2 long days, but I will be a better man for it. Hang in there guys on your orders from me, Ill get them out ASAP. Later Nathan

I am off today with renewed intrest. I failed at the design once, was discouraced becouse of lack of no how on the tine hinges. EVO3, Dead on. Great design, and functional. The only thing I cant see is the hinges in the screen cap. Thats the part that bugs me. I was shooting for a hidden clean hinge, like a roll pin, but lacked the capabilitys in my shop to do it. are those short thread stock, like a set screw? Could they be shortened? You all are making me itch to get back into the shop. NICE WORK!

They have been doing the small car and scooter here in Japan for a long long time. Its about 5.00 a gallon, but that is low right now. I have seen it up as high as 7.00. They pay by the Liter. I get around the whole mess... I cycle. Problem is when I did that in the states about 3 months ago I almost got smeared by non attentive drivers. We are not set up for high prices, or other modes of transportation yet. It is truly a crisis in America. Its not going to go away anytime soon IMO. So its time to change. I am a very loud supporter for muscle cars too. Just got to pay to play these days. My 454 gets driven to shows. I get about 4 MPG. LOL Toyota Prius... *Beep beep* The look of the future is here.

If you are after screen worn, its green light acidtite.. (think thats houw its spelled... LOL) Any way, not great for trooping, flash goes through em.. Looks great for display though. Welders grade 3 splits the diffrence and a shield can run about 15-20 bucks Depending where you go and shade. You can get about 3 lens sets out if you cut good enough. I cheat and use my engraver. There are a few of us making lenses, from thick to thin, depends on what you want. DIY is pretty easy as well. There is a trooper here selling super nice set of 1/8 inch offered here on the boards, as well as my welders shield ones. Granger.com sells shields in the welders section. Lots of options.
