This was intense! That crowd was huge. You cant see behind the camera, but it went back about 20 more feet and up some stairs. That was the Luke Giveaway and CJ... ----------- Funniest would be riding the train into a party on base. To see regular people react to Vader and Troopers commuting to work... Thats funny stuff. Having an oficial Navy photo taken was funny as well. Officers get these done. Now if I was wearing my pauldron right... LOL. My old FX. -------------- Craziest thing was having a "troopie" at CJ. The chick flipped out! Chicks dig armor.

Well the quick thinking on this is to mate the two halfs perfect. Glue in the magnets from the inside of the calf. I will then use a metal strip for the front to be kind of like a bind strip. The RE mags should hold like nobodys biz. I need to head off to the Homestore to find flat thin steel that will work... Its still in the plan stage.

HA! Thanks! I am in the tape trooper stage... and am a total noob to canon armor... Thats why I ask before doing! Awesome! And.... Flipped... And built and tested up the thighs... On thing I will say... These babys dont bite. SO much better than the FX. I might be able to run a maration in these. Thanks ST for the link. I am all over that. Thats what the boards are for... Well I am fully trimmed on the TE2. I am putting the TM till after this build, I want to finalize one then start another. I really wanted to get teh TM lid done though. Slowing down a little and double checking things. Measure twice cut once kinda thing... I am rough assembling the legs. I really would like to have these come apart... I am looking into that. Velcro or Rare earth magnets might happen. If I cant though, I will glue. Left leg fits like a glove. Right fits kinda like poo... Might have to tweek it. Do they look right? I am spying on a Scout pack frame, and I am going to recycle the Marco pack with some upgrades. I tore it down and am building a scratch pack in a way. Ordered up an original pauldron, and am soon to recieve a set of MP40 pouches from a repro retailer. I will be on the look out for a set of real ones as well...

Painted... I goofed a bit... The decals are 4510, (thanks man!) Its an easy fix, just goofed a little.

TM is ABS now... Its so shiny... I think I read that VT has CAP's old molds... CAP made new ones and has a .100 Lid... Hey there is always the ANHV2 from Kev... Nice one peice fan sculpt as well... Not fiberglass but heavier than the plastic ones.

To smitty and 8280 you should listen... Save the coin, buy some good boots. Dan111h2o on Ebay is Darkside trooper boots, but there large. 12-14 US size. CAboots are the next in line for premades. I think it is far wiser in your case to look into painting or dying a set of Molder or Jodper (SP?) boots. You will look 100% better. Please dont buy the Elvis or Mariachi boots... horrid... Its worth getting the details right the first time. Its actually money saved.

So it begins... Dirty it is! Ill be reworking my Marco pack and just finished hitting the buy button on an original paldron and a second set of Darkside trooper boots... Ill be a Sargent, as thats what I am in real life...

Now that would be cool... Yep, Lancer on BSN and shooting for Elite. I am not sure if I am going TD.. I am leaning that way with the TE2. I think it would look awesome dirty. I have taken Vader to the higest level I can do as well.. any more and I wont want to wear him out! Thanks guys... That makes me feel pretty good...

Yes, Shiny ABS goodness.. . You are right about the subtle lines... Things that I have never seen before and now admire. Ill point out some of em as I take pics of the build... Helmet is done... I got a chnce to work on it today a little, in between engraving...

Few more ref shots... I am aiming at a perfected ESB trooper. One that fits the bill. I need to trim the ears, but the hemlet is almost done. I will have something to show this weekend. Man 4510's decals are nice. Looking great on the TM! Here is the armor outta the box... I love that its kinda flexable. A little harder to trim, but Stuka's tips are golden! Great toot man!

So glad to be in Japan... Costumes seem to be viewed diffrently here. It is still a little diffrent, but if I asked I wouldnt have any trouble getting a class room visit orginized. So the high school snubbed ya. Forget em. There are tons more to do as a trooper other than be in costume. I am sure looking around and asking the elementry school about the read for kids programs would go over with a bang. How cool would it be to be 6 and have atrooper read a book to you? Being in the 501st and working with the local garrison to get events orginized could be a way of "getting back" at the high school so to speak. It would be priceless to bell ring across from the high school for Salavation army. (depends on where the school is) Just as priceless to have the man donate. Grown men do wear costumes everyday, preform there jobs and dutys just fine. I for one would not troop a high school in the states. To many jerk off kids looking for a "you tube" oppertunity. Now the elementry and middle school, diffrent story. Kid at heart is somthing that not all have, some reside to unhappyness and worldly "norm" views. Those are the folks that are diving the US down, but I can see change in the future. Hang in man, giving back is a blast, and the costume is one avenue to get there. Dont get discouraged.

Does life get any better? TM kit and a TE2 lid in the same day. TE2 armor in the same week. I am on a white armor high! I have to buy a new tote! I am outta space.

I know right! Some day I want to get the hat trick, go for an AP. With Vader done, and the TB done, its time to push the limits with TK! I have some of the parts rough trimmed. I will be starting on the Calfs first.

If you ever get a chance to read the story line in Infinitys, The ewoks are human eaters and wipe out the Imperials and the Rebels. There drawn pretty mean looking too... 3PO is the only reason that the rebels survive. I gotta say though that being beaten to death by a teddy bear would be pretty nightmarish!

Ok, stupid question no 1. What defines the left and right to these peices? My first clue was how they were packed, and I numbered them on a cut away section of each part 1 and 2. How do up tell the diffrerance though? Biceps Bells Thighs Calf Forarm
