Hi Rob a little tip you could try to prevent the paint flaking off when trooping ,is to put a couple of coates of Johnson's Klear on it ,i used this on my Gino V3 PP helmet and my 1mm abs TM Set for Stun helmet , the Johnson's is a clear glaze once on it protects any weathering you have done and paint chips , i also put this on 1mm painted TM armour with great results . You cant get Johnson Klear of the shelf now but good old ebay

Exelant Build John ,how did you find the build ?, i know when i built my RS PVC suit i had a issue with the butt peice had to heat bend it in places but then iam only 5.6 Tall lol, i really enjoyed the build following some of the LFL Arcive photos for referance , i really find the PVC mental to work with it trimmed like butter and so flexy right just got to troop this baby now

  9. This all great info Guy's keep it comming off to find some screen grabs of the Sandtroopers butt peices and try and see how many snaps they had Blue-Ray Becons me thinks

Nice Build Rob and thanks for sharing the pics of the Original , like i mentioned to you over on another chat room , it would be so intresting to find out if the other Original Sandtroopers only had one snap in the butt peice , i know we cant take it for sure that the Simon suit was a Sandy even tough it had the 3 abb buttons on it , i luv this the plot thickens
  11. Hi mate i would go with making them as rough as you can and dont have perfectly straight cuts and maybe have them look slightly diffarent to each other

    A Salute to TM

    As the title say's , just would like to thank Paul TM for all his years of knowlage and hard work in bringing us all a screen accuratte Stormtrooper , his dedication is truely unbelivable , and his work just gets better and better , he would also without hesation help you out if you have any probs with the builds ,and also provides one of the best servies i have ever known , he has served this hobby to the extream and may it long contuinue . So Paul i Salute you Sir

This Stelmax Glue is the nuts i used it on my RS build , but please do take note as Rich and Paul have mentioned it can mark and scar your armour if over spill , but boy if used correctley you do get some great warping effects going on like the on the original armour . @ Rich whats up with you man USE IT GIVE IN TO YOUR FEAR
  18. Awsome Accurate Build thread mate , and this will certainly help others get it bang on when building a true TM suite , from a original back in the day
