Looks good!
I just weathered my SDS blaster some last weekend as well, but I might add some more with your pictures in mind.
How did you attach the cocking handle?
-
I never said it would pass EIB, hence my request for advice. I would like a canvas belt but all the belts people make come with snaps already installed, and the way my belt attaches is not like anything anyone sells.
My attachment system will not hinder EIB, it is the material of my current belt that will. I need a sturdy belt that will be able to take advantage of my current snap system (which at this point I cannot change)
None of all belts I've seen for sale here on the boards have snaps pre-installed.

I built my kit over about 3 months from delivery to 501st clearance with no new mods for EIB after I was cleared as those were already in place. But I had my helmet pre-assembled by TM and the blaster bought finished before the suit arrived. Still I don't think it took that long. I had never even seen a real suit before mine, so I learned as I built it. But I had read up a lot from the forums here for a couple of months before I got the plastic. It helped a lot!

I'm on 100Mbit fiber downloading from the dropbox-mirror you put up, and I'm fluctuating between as low (hah!) as ~400KBps and up to about 1 MBps. So this will be something like a 10 minute download for me. Thanks for sharing!

Welcome!
Don't forget to sign up at the forums of Nordic Garrison to meet some other fellow Norwegians, or people from any other nordic country for that matter.
Edit: I see you've already signed up at NG. Good work!

Copy that, after several suits, you get the routine.
Some projects i like to do fast, and thinks thats fun.
Some i like to take my time on, no stress, just chill and have a good time whit it.
I guess this one, is one my more relaxed projects
Who wouldn't take their time and enjoy a beauty like that kit!
-
You're still far faster than I was. But then again, I had never built nor even seen a suit in real life before I started mine.

Looking good Rolf!

All at once!
HAHAHA That would be hilarious if it wasn't impossible!
Anyways, awesome collection!

Wow! Looks really great
I'm looking forward to seeing this take shape!

I can´t wait to see the pics bro.
Leia is hot, so i understand yes
The only crazy thing i have done is to take a small walk in my white trooper, wearing normal cloth.
It looked real disco 70´, a friend want me to keep then on go out partying.
But i could have my self doing it, well maybe because i was not drunk enough
Sure thing, i will post some pics alone the way.
Giving birth to the monster suit, to he´s ready for trooping
Cheers mate, over and out from Copenhagen
I regularly take my tkboots in the morning to work, and sometimes to the bar. You want that "natural" weathering, don't you?

Got my first two TM kits in 2006 (2mm gloss hips i think it was/sold), next one here in 2010 (2mm gloss abs/sold).
And now my # 4 TM kit coming is (1mm semi gloss abs/keeper).
As you can see, i´m a true fan
And i guess, i´m not done getting them coming in..
as our master seems to make them better each time, even we all think it can´t be better each time
That sure is a lot of TM goodness! I'm sure I'll do another suit within a year or so. It's so fun.

See if you can talk to Rolf and maybe come over at the same time
That would be awesome! Rolf, are you reading this?
-
that could be arrange Mathius:)
Would love that! I have never been to the UK, so that would be a good excuse!
-
I don't know of more than 3 in Nordic Garrison sporting TM (that is, then Rolf gets his new kit), but sometime I think NG and UKG should have a little get together.
-
Amazing work!
Like mentioned before, the weathering is fantastic!
-
Congrats Mathias!
Are you going to submit an action shot or should I use the one with the helmet on?
Cheers.
Thanks!
Here, use this one:

Thanks! Much better.

If they are bots you are buying from ebay then just ask the seller for the text inside the boots before you buy.
That's a good idea! Those however are size 11, and I wear a size 9. But if they indeed had been originals I'd bought them anyway. But since they are not I'll pass.
-
Looks like an easy pass. The only missing detail ship is the mic tips and you are good to go.
Edit:
New, hopefully better picture:
-
Cool!
See, you can find out things if you try. Well done.
Just in case you are unsure about the brand (as most boots don't have the name inside) the model number you are looking for is 1095. If your boots don't have that then they probably aren't the boots your looking for.
Yeah, I was looking for that number, figuring that was the key to everything, but the pictures I found were from the wrong angle to reveal the inside text. But then I overlooked the differences in the elastic anyway.

That is one sweet wallpaper! But why the low resolution?
