  1. Yes Vern, and that applies to you as well. The way I see it, you're the only one here screaming and shouting calling people rude.
  2. Don't worry, you don't have to do that.
  3. Your opinion is noted, but unless you can point at an actual event this is a rather fruitless exercise in whining. I, nor anyone in staff can or will pre-screen all posts made in an Orwellian "1984" style censorship scheme in order to protect you or any new guys from "bad people". If you think someone is violating any rules, report the post to staff for review.
  4. At least someone did their due diligence before writing the CRL
  5. I'd rather be pointed to an example than to go through 5 years worth of posts (aprox 250 000).
  6. I haven't seen anyone actually primer the outside like that before. It'll be interesting to see how it turns out. The few I've seen who went the primer route just added the inside overspray. I'm also not sure if the ears where ever primered, although they obviously were fitted on the helmet before the white paint was put on.
  7. Yes Vern. Please point me to any post where someone even remotely hints that " You're not EIB. Your armor sucks".
  8. Yes, that's a bit amazing. I've never seen anyone get confused by this requirement before. No offence meant. It's always good to try to make things clearer.
  9. I'll try to remember that. I don't have access to editing the CRL's but maybe Tom can rephrase it a bit better once he's back from C6.
  10. Mine was purple once!
  11. Simply put, as long as your hand guards are white, whether that means painted white or not is irrelevant. The point is that they are made of a flexible material such as rubber, latex or sillicone and affixed to a rubber glove. End of discussion.
  12. Obviously we don't want to alienate anyone or be rude for that matter. That's just poor form. But being overly cheerful and saying that something is great when it clearly isn't can also be "dangerous" as it gives a false sense of security and disillusion to whoever is at the other side of the screen. Most people really do want to make the best that they can, and if gently being told that there's room for improvement, there's a great deal of people that follow up on that rather than settling with "good enough". The kind of people that does settle for "good enough" are rarely the kind of people to try to gain access to a world renowned costume club.
  13. I mean that when there is zero (or next to zero) difference in cost, effort or practicality there's those that choose accuracy, and there's those that do not. Then, by perfectionist I mean those that doesn't shy away from going to hell and back for the perfect replica down to the most minuscule detail.
  14. There's also a difference between being a perfectionist and one that doesn't ignore detail when it's easily implemented without impacting practicality.
  15. Thanks guys! Tom, are you learning Swedish?
  16. Indeed it is easy pass. Good job trooper.
  17. Maybe next weekend. This weekend my mother visits to see my new apartment. No problem!
  18. Unlike some, I'm not afraid to show my real age.
  19. Thanks Joey and Alex
  20. Thanks Brian! Fair enough!
  21. Yeah, that's correct. That one's just for drinking schnaps! And yes, time does fly when you party naked... errm... eh.. I mean have fun (building armour)! Thanks all of you!
  22. Thank you Eric. You're quick!
  23. There is no website (like most makers). But try sending him a PM. He's a member here.
  24. Mason has some health issues. The staff is in contact with him and his customers to sort this out. Me and several other staff members have agreed to refund Masons customers out of our own pocket should the situation require so.
  25. Maybe this would help. Looks like a $5 download: http://www.onlineshe...oom-p96005.aspx or here http://www.musicnotes.com/sheetmusic/mtdVPE.asp?ppn=MN0102488
