Ok so ive looked at all sorts of reference photos but im still unsure as to where exactly and how big the 4th tooth on each side is supposed to be. Could someone with insane photoshop skills please do an overlay for me before i go insane and make a mistake on my helmet. So here are some pics to work with. Bonus points for anyone who can identify the green thing in my bathtub. -----

Lol I asked everyone and im always open to new ideas, i closed the gaps on my armor witha ring binder so i think new stuff is cool!

So what method has everyone used to connect their newly cut pieces? I was considering gluing s piece of black cloth in the back but i dont know how well that would work.

Wow i never thought of that. Since im putting a pouch in my backplate today ill take that idea into consideration if you dont mind.

I'm going to assume you're talking about the pocket mod. Ill post a tutorial around 3 this afternoon. And ill be sure to post a link to it in this thread ^.^ Its a relatively simple process and is very inexpensive (as is everything else i have to do to my armor)

As said before modding your drop boxes for your phone is great, ive do that myself. Im also working on building a pocket into the area of the upper backplate that is hollow on the inside (I dont konw how to explain it any better than that.)

Im pretty sure since they mergered with a few other sites you now login with your e-mail adress and your previous password. Id give that a try and see if it works

Ok so after a search that turned up no results though i know there are threads about this im going to ask my question. The material that goes between the kidney and but plate, is it black or white? Thats all ai need to know. I just dont want to wastet he time cutting white if i need black and vice versa.

im pretty sure any krylon black spray paint is good, and to do the weathering id just use model paints.

Ive done this as well. Go to snaps, they make it much less stressfull.

I found out that i not only have a rivet gun, but as you stated its really easy to use. Thanks for the help guys. I think ill be able to go rivvet happy on things about the house very soon.

Hrm. The title of this thread caught my eye and now it has me thinking before 9 AM! What kind of magic is this? Anywho back on topic it depends on what kind of leash we're talking about. If its think black (any color really, im assuming black) 1'' nylon webbing in construction i think it would do fine. Id just melt the ends where you cut to prevent fraying. Pictures will be cool if you decide to do this!
