  1. If not nol, we have our friend the heat gun.
  2. Youll run into all sorts of unique problems, like accidentaly hot gluing your Thermal Det together without the shiny strips.... ^.^
  3. Replacing the ab buttons (a really easy and cheap mod) will make the kit look tons better on it own.
  4. IM 6'1'' and 175 and the fx fits me well. You should be fine
  5. Yeah im too much of a showboat to hide this sort of thing I called everyone on my phone whos number i had and told them wheni had my armor done.
  6. Ive yet to have anyone call me anything of the sort, but hey my friends are the same way. Most of the people here seem to think that the stormy is a really cool thing, even ahd a car full of highschool voleyball players stop and ask for a picture and they talked to me seriously about all joining up with the 501st. ^.^
  7. Those pictures brightened my day. Nothing makes me laugh like a poorly constructed costume that costs almost $1k. Aw with the lack of boots the poor guy is also missing a neckseal. Looks like one swift kick to the proverbial rear would put this guy to pieces.
  8. Take your time and dont work too hard.
  9. gotta get the on icanhasforce. "Im in ur pikinikz spealin ur basketses!"
  10. Nope thats either a dance tighsuit or Underarmor. Turtle necks look like THIS: -----------
  11. They can stay the way they are it hink, unless its entirely uncomfortable. The tope will be covered by your shoulder bells, and you can just padd the inside of them with foam to keep them in place. Least thats what I did!
  12. 1) Most helmets do not come assembled unless otherwise stated by the seller. 2) Avoid the turtle neck like the plague unless you live in the arctic and would die without it. theyre too thick and i doubt that you would get 501st approval with one (if anyone has feel free to speak up). Ive found from personal experience that the turtle necks have the tendancy to bunch up and puff out the joints, and the legion standards stare that you need somthing a bit more skin tight. You can find the under armor you need at www.UnderArmour.com . Its really amazing stuff, ive worked with many of their products before and ill say that its worth every penny and you will thank yourself later.
  13. That pic looks like a "lets get a pic with dady before he goes back to work for another few months ok Billy?" type of picture. You could make it into a great poster for the empire!
  14. The ear caps will fit more tightly when you rivet them to the underside of the helmet. I assume you cut a hole behind the tusks to insert a speaker into?
  15. 18 here. One of the youngins.
  16. Im a WoW person and so is my grilfriend. Used to be a big C&C online person, and im still on battle net for blizzard every day. Makes me feel old.
  17. Im not in the service but i own 5 ponchos w/liners. Theyre the best thing i know of for staying dry and warm. Those and my Nam' era field jackets.
