I’d agree to a similar method that Glen suggested. This, and/or Blender are good tools to use currently. In the future, options like FormFitter may also be great but there’s not a definitive timeline on its release, as the beta period just launched on Friday. A lot of scaling can be done based solely on getting rough measurements of your body with a fabric measuring tape (the soft flexible ones), and then measuring cross sections in your preferred scaling software. The thighs are arguably the hardest part in my opinion with these non-saga TKs as most files feature a double overlapping system which is good for gluing or Velcro, but not necessarily for flexibility. For me, most of Akira’s files were too tight initially so I scaled up to 102 or 103%, but this generally left the piece being too tall. It’s, unfortunately, a lot of trial and error unless you have a scan of yourself to reference your scaling to. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you need help, I’ve had my fair share with these thighs!

I have finally created a layout of the armor that I want to eventually print in the future until I finally get approval. I've received a lot of help from others and have a collection of armor files from various different people and really appreciate all the help I've been given. ROTK Armor File List Base Armor: Akira's ROTK armor files Helmet: Nico Henderson's ROTK helmet Modifications made to the helmet by TKModder421 Backplate: Akira's original backplate with modifications made by Sayless "O I I" details upgraded by 11b30b4 Shoulder Straps: Jason Glisson's TPU shoulder straps Abdomen: Akira's Abdomen with 11b30b4's modified upgrades Kidney Plate: BigJasoni's upgraded kidney plate Belt: Akira's belt with BigJasoni's upgraded belt boxes Thermal Detonator: Sayless' thermal detonator Thighs: Akira's thigh pieces with Sayless' modified Akira ammo belt Hand Plates: Ox Props' ROTK hand plates (I'm unsure whether his or Akira's are better) Here are some quick renders of what my armor should look like with all of the modifications included, but these were very quick and don't contain every updated piece. If anyone would like help rendering their armor or is following a similar path and would like to see a full updated armor set with all the modern modifications, I'd be more than happy to help.

Thanks for dropping those references, Glen! I think I misworded my post a bit—I was actually wondering about the internal strapping that’s hidden from view. For instance, how (if at all) is the underlap held in place (outside of the visible velcro)? I recall seeing some internal rigging in early Rogue One BTS photos that kept it closed, alongside the thigh-to-abdomen straps you mentioned. I fully intend to go with the fabric covers over the nylon strapping (with buckles) as per the references available! As far as the rear cover strips go... They're definitely angled outward toward the top, and the bottom lines up with the outer corner of the bottom rim, exactly as you pointed out. Honestly, that visible underlap might just be a dressing issue, similar to what we noticed in a bunch of the Celebration photos. It’s always tough to prove these things with just screenshots, but I think this alignment is on the right track! Working on test prints now, will update this photo with additional photos in the next day or so. EDIT: As promised, test prints! Planning to make a few minor tweaks to the bottom rim to give it a tad more clearance, buttttt I'd say I nailed the thighs.

Thank you all for your insightful advice! Glad I'm not crazy...I do have access to the beta of Formfitter because of Kickstarter but doesn't seem it will be helpful for a while... I do acknowledge I'll likely print out parts that have been modded and then realize they don't work and trash them...just trying to mitigate the mistakes as much as possible. Okay, seems like a manual process of stitching the parts together and scaling as needed...hmmm...as mentioned, my buddy has been doing design work independently for a few decades so perhaps just sending him the files, he could put them together, I could scale them appropriately through measurements of my body, and then print out...I might be over thinking this, but that sounds like a plan... Thank you @Platinum Lex, I will scour your thread for updated files...definitely would like to minimize reprints and no reason not to get the most accurate ones, eh?! This will be a long process...and I have a day job that keeps me busy...but hopefully this is something I can work towards for a Halloween '26 reveal...

Keep trooping has added an under suit that look pretty good, and Endor Finders is no longer selling RO Gloves, so we may want to update this list as well. Also we may want to reconsider list Sheev's Emporium as a trusted vendor. The complaint of his taking orders (money) and not fulling them have been multiplying.

I use 3D builder, if they have been saved in situe they will normally be pieced together, then I adjust all three pieces, may be easier ways but this works for me

Thank you for this info and support! Ha, I am a little stuck already... I was looking at the pieces for the left calf. As mentioned before, my calves are kind of big...but I'm having a heck of a time figuring out how to scale Akira's files given it's in like 3 pieces...is there something I'm missing to make this a bit easier to figure out and guestimate it close?! I got my .6 nozzle and would love to start printing soon...the UV Resin sounds like the ticket as well, I'll have to stock up on some of that...

So I think we need to update this list. Keep Trooping only has the solid black gloves, so you'd have to paint the leather parts white, which will be an issue with the "black tread" Endor Finder isn't selling them any longer Trooperbay gloves aren't quite right, they have an extra layer of white leather on the 2nd knuckle.
