Thank you all for your caring comments, really means a lot and brought tears to my eyes. I saw my mother most days so finding it really hard without her...she really was a wonderful loving mother and life without her will not be the same. To cheer me up the wife bought me a pair of imperial boots from RS prop masters.. really impressed Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk2 points

Cheers Jesse. Good idea with the corn starch. My wife does that with fondant (she makes big cake creations). Will try that next time. Had a little go at reshaping following your handy link. Essentially though, I think mine are a little too thick to get them spot on. Appreciate the link though. :-) [emoji1303] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

I would LOVE to design one, however I'm currently designing a idea for a patch & Decal for a friend. Along with a website I draw for... saw this and it sparked my interest. Good luck to whomever does enter!1 point

Nice central capacitors Dan! - looking like the real deal If you get the green stuff to flare out; they will be more like the originals as used on screen, following Andy's (Playfulwolfcub) research. See page 22 of his document found here: E-11 Power Cylinders Research Thread (renamed from "3 Central Fuses...") As for working with green stuff; I found putting a little bit of corn starch on your hands before forming with take away some of the stickiness making the task easier.1 point

A little more done than I expected today. My first foray into using Green stuff. Mixed up too much so decided to do a couple of other tasks with the excess. Plenty of sanding and finishing to do. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

Hi all. Not a lot to report. Just a slight update to the trigger guard and a custom sight pin. As you’ll see, took an old bolt, removed thread from top, added side groove and cut down to size. Still needs a little tidying up, but hopefully looking okay. Also reshaped and added slots to the trigger guard. That’s all, folks. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

Hi guys..it's been a while but sadly my mother passed away a few weeks ago. Originally from Italy, she came to the UK shortly after the war for a better life. She was the most amazing mum who devoted her life to her 2 sons. I could've have wished for a better mother gonna miss you so so much mum RIP xxx Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk1 point

you will need: -mic tips -metal screen material -scissors -superglue (optional) -highlighter or dry erase marker 1. Cut mesh into circle a little bigger than the size of a nickel (this is so it stretches and doesnt fold) 2. Sandwich the mesh between mic tip and upside-down highlighter/marker cap like this 3. Push down slowly and evenly you can see what i did here 4. trim the excess. this is so it goes in evenly and you dont end up mashing it down 5. pull now-bent screen out and flip it over. you can put a bit of glue around the inside, id recommend so it wont fall out. when installing i like to use an exacto knife to evenly push in the screen from the sides do the same with the other one and there you go!1 point

big improvements today! got the new led drivers 1watt each with PT4115 integrated circuit and they work great powering with arduino a super bight 3 watt RGB led! now it is very easy the assembly, thanks to the pins ready to solders. Moreover, i also tested a new Mp3 player board, even smaller and cheaper to the previous one. It is called DFPlayer mp3 mini (also know as Mp3-TF-16P), it communicates with arduino via serial ports, has its own library (very easy to program), it is 3watt mono (who care if it is not stereo) and we can connect to 2 speakers via the small mini amp (3w+3w). Just tested with arduino, a 8GB MiniSD card, RGB led and button and it works great! what else for just 1,20euro? you can watch both succesfull video test on my facebook page here https://www.facebook.com/fxblasterarduino/ very soon i will update the first page with everythings needed associated to this upgrade. And a new project is coming..1 point
