Obievon[501st]
This is what is left of the fantastic glue. I asked earlier what to use for my FX TX, and you guys were right. E6000 is the glue! Hands down. Just in case anyone was curious.

Obievon[501st]
two days?!?! did you get everything glued with that tube? Yes everything except a lid. Still waiting on the ATA. Yep, I'd post pictures but it went together fairly uneventful, (don't get me wrong that is just fine). Everyone here has seen that done that the only difference is it's TX. For my first build everything is going together as expected. Hope I didn't jenks it .................Naw? Oh please..Oh please.......... Now these are just before I start on the strapping system. Test fit on monkey dummy to get a gestimate on sizing. All in all it's coming a long. Time to clean up the tools of the trade and move on to straps and snaps .

bluehickey
You have a monkey dummy?
Obievon[501st]
You have a monkey dummy? "Ya, doesn't everybody?" Been spending the day working on the suspension system. Who would of thought Home EC class would have come in handy 30 years later? I had to get out the sewing machine to make some straps. Still pushing forward almost there. More pics to come.................................................
Obievon[501st]
This is how I attached one of the end caps to my Thermal Det Tube. I used 2 rare earth mags and e6000 glued them in place. Then I made a angle piece from leftovers from the clips. So far it seems to work. I might have to add another on the other side, I won't know until I get the suit together and try it. I held it in the small of my back with my left hand and used my right hand to open it from behind me. Worked pretty cool, then just got close and it snapped back on. Also when you go TX the tabs really look better painted black . Well back to work on the Monkey TX.
