Question, I have a Hasbro blaster that I'm modding with a resin detail kit I got from doopydoos.com(http://www.doopydoos.com/stormtrooper-e-11-hasbro-blaster-conversion-skin-kit-207-p.asp). If I add that resin componant kit, with the t-rails from Stompy, and if it's painted correctly, would that qualify for EIB?

You would still need to add the D-ring, but other than that you've got it covered.

yes, sorry, I knew that.

I'm going to try to go right for EIB when I apply. I know it's unlikely, but a guy's gotta have goals right?

Why is it unlikely? We've had several people that went EIB w/in 24 hours of getting their TK. It's far easier achieve it on a new kit than to upgrade an old one, so essentially they just build it that way from the beginning.

I just didn't want to sound too cconfident :) I'm pretty sure I'll be g2g

That's been my plan, at least. :D

Guys, GO FOR IT!!! B)

As Paul said, it's a lot easier to bulid in the details at the start than to take time out to upgrade later :)

One good little tip is to take a look at the existing EIB's and their submissions and you can get a good

idea of what you've covered off and what you may have missed.

COME ON!, you know it makes sense :D

Another question, anyone know where to get t-rails for the e-11 other than Stompy? I don't think he's doing any anytome soon, and I'm working on my e-11.

NM, I see Smitty has some, asking him.

ok, sorry for the bad picture, but is this an acceptable placement for the t-tracks on the barrel? I ask because I know on the right side (if you're looking at it from the front) the lower track should be up more, but I wanted to show the vent holes on that side, so I was going to place the t-track a little lower. I'm down to placing the t-tracks when I get them, and then painting. will be posting pics and instructions on the build in my build thread soon.

Eric

The T-Track should be placed over the barrel case vent holes. There should be 6 in total leaving

only the bottom row on the mag housing side where the bayonet lug is exposed. :)

If you still want to see the lights on a the hasbro, you could make up some T-Track out of

clear acrylic and spray it with some black lens tint, the type they use on the rear lights of

pimped-up cars :D

Hope this helps mate

the problem I'm having is that there is no holes that low on the hasbro, there's only to rows of holes on each side. if I place the t-track as shown, all holes would be filled, and there'd be no holes under the mag side tracks. I took the electronics out, so lights are a non-issue.

I guess what I'm asking, is if I'd still be able to be EIB if 1 of the tracks is not placed correctly.

So, can I get some feedback from the powers that be? I should have my tracks in either today, or tomorrow, and I'd like to know if I need to drill out more holes, and get to work back-filling the holes with a plate behind them, or if I'm ok with what I have. I'm willing to do the work, but it's going to really be a pain, and I would like to know if what I've got is acceptable, or if I need to re-work everything. Thanks guys.

I don't believe so. The standard just says that you need a total of 6 t-racks, but doesn't specify anything about having to fill in holes for the Hasbro.

Thank you Paul, I appreciate the clarification, I'm planning on getting a hyperfirm someday, but for now this is all I can afford. can wait to show ya'll it's looking good! doesn't even look like a hasbro anymore!
