Hello everyone

My name is Belinda and I need help with a Stormtrooper, Legacy Era Female costume.

Where do I start?

Does anyone know where I can get the print files for this costume that will be 501 approved?

Are there any resources you could direct me to?

Any info or advice would be gratefully received.

Thank you for your time

Hello and welcome I have not seen any 3D files for this character, you can find kits through imperialsurplus.com

Hi Belinda, and welcome to FISD.

Imperial surplus were making ABS vac formed Legacy era Fem armour I believe.

Reach out to Kevin through his Imperial Surplus Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/imperialsurplus

As to 3D files, I can't recall seeing any in recent times, so not sure if they exist or are accurate enough for approval without modifications.

Like any kit, they need to be built to fit your size and nothing is automatically 51st approvable out of the box.

@Vicki_Velocipanda has one and may be able to assisst

I was summoned :D Hi Belinda! I own one of Kevin's kits and mine is approved with the Legion! I also haven't seen any 3D files for that set of armor and I think Kevin is the only maker selling kits. Have a look at the CRL and decide which version of the costume you want to make, there are two! Just reach out if you have more questions!

Hi everyone!

Thanks so much for all the encouragement and support along the way. I originally set out to make a different costume, but quickly discovered that sewing isn’t one of my hidden talents 😅.

After saving up for a while, I was finally able to get everything I need in one go — and I’m so grateful to have a few amazing TKs in my garrison helping me with the build. I think I might even be the only Legacy Female Stormtrooper in the Outer Rim Garrison (BC)!

I’ve already attended three weekend events, helping other costumers and taking photos, and I absolutely love it. The smiles on the kids’ faces are priceless — and knowing it’s all for charity makes it even more meaningful.

Soon it’ll be my turn to troop, and I couldn’t be more excited!

Great to hear you having a positive experience and also getting help from fellow TK's.

A great way to get feedback on your costume build is to post a build thread

Good luck, hope to see you in shinny white and approved in the not-too-distant future :jc_doublethumbup:

Hi Belinda,

Good to see that you are here on the FISD forum.

I will be bringing my TK to the troop this weekend so I can show you how I put mine together.
