mjrose927[TK] Posted June 28, 2019 Report Posted June 28, 2019 (edited) Hello. I have been combing through the forums trying to find the least cost option for a blaster to get EIB approval. I just joined the 501st several weeks ago but built my armor pretty much to the EIB level requirements. I have 3 items I need to do before I can submit: AB to kidney gap, boots, and blaster. I do not have hundreds of dollars to spend on a blaster. I am looking to move to EIB to help get us to the 1000 mark. So, I need most cost effective option even if it means putting in maximum effort. I would like to take advantage of all the knowledge out there on best way to do this. As stated, I am having issues finding best option in forums, or I am horrible at search strings. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Best Regards, Michael Rose TK-12037 Edited June 28, 2019 by mjrose927 Quote
Thumpy~[501st] Posted June 28, 2019 Report Posted June 28, 2019 For L2, offhand, look into the Hasbro conversion option or B grades from reputable vendors. short of that, continue to research. https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/116-blastech-e11/ Also, try to pay attention to what’s posted in the PX Commissary. You might get lucky. https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/41-imperial-commissary-px/ Try to look at EIB submissions and see what other applicants did for their blaster solutions. https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/95-expert-infantryman-program/ Quote
Harbinger[IPM] Posted June 29, 2019 Report Posted June 29, 2019 Cheapest option would be a doopydoos kit (with Tjay’s kit for even more accuracy) or having a friend 3d print you one. I would advise you to skip the Hasbro conversion, if you ever decide to go for Centurion you would need to buy another blaster which is even more $ in the long run. 2 Quote
TheSwede[TK] Posted June 29, 2019 Report Posted June 29, 2019 3D prints now needs to be sanded smooth as it can’t have any visible print lines for EIB and beyond. I would normalt recommend Imperial Warfighters on FB as they have a great rubber E-11 at a very good price, pretty much ready to go out of the box. However, Ryan, the owner, just suffered a tragic loss of his wife so no sure if they are taking orders at the moment. 1 Quote

He did tell me that he would let me know when up and running again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
justjoseph63[Staff] Posted June 30, 2019 Report Posted June 30, 2019 As Brien mentioned, Doopydoos (link below) is a great kit. The cost (with shipping) is about $85.00, and you can also upgrade it with one of Tino's finishing kits to bring it to a much higher level of accuracy. https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/28444-fs-completion-sets-for-e-11-resin-kits-with-worldwide-tracked-shipping-and-paypal/ https://www.doopydoos.com/stormtrooper-e-11-complete-anh-e-11-blaster-kit-offer-2685-p.asp Here is a fantastic resource for the build if you decide to go that route: https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/32111-fisd-e-11-blaster-reference/ 1 Quote
