Cover strips corners question

I was wondering if, to be movie accurate, all the corners of all covers strips mus be cut so that they look something like this : \_/  ? (you get the idea)

 

Or do these cut corners should only appear on a few specific cover strips? If so, which ones must be cut like this and which one must not?

I’d say err on the side of consistency — all or none.

There is indeed a shape similar to the one you suggested, but not quite as severe of an angle.  I just rounded mine out a tiny bit to get rid of the sharp angle, but it's not a necessity.

When ever in doubt check the TK references gallery, you will notice that not all coverstrips match but I would suggest consistency otherwise you may get stoped at approval.

 

I also just rounded off the tips on mine, preferred that look to the cut cornered shown below.
