Wow, Kurt...  REALLY nice job on this build!   Love the double snap system.. (I swear by it). The only thing that jumped out at me was the top of the right thigh... it looks as if the outer piece is a bit longer than the inner one.  This can be cut down an evened out with no trouble, and won't affect your ability to reach EIB or Centurion.  As a matter of fact, you can remove all the return edges on the tops if it is more comfortable.

Also, don't forget about this thread for when you are approved:  http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/38945-free-501st-decal-for-the-next-5-eibs/#entry521555 Best of luck, Trooper!

I tried leaving my return edges on, but they chafed the bejeezers out me.  You are indeed talented (and patient) to re-create those return edges.  I tried it once.  It wasn't pretty.  The fire dept. will attest to that.  :P

Hi Kurt, thank you for your application lets check it out.

CRL and EIB Application Requirements:

All submission photos have been posted. Your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for Expert Infantry. Welcome trooper!    :salute:

Other-Armor Fit/Assembly:

Very nice work Kurt, you should be proud of yourself, I do like the AP kit and it looks great on you.

We have a few minor  things for you to tweak that will get you looking spot on.

Number 1 is to simply remove the white paint from the snap in the top corner of your ab plate.

Number 2 is your thigh cover strips. We see that Joseph made a comment in your application thread and you have acknowledged it is something  you wish to fix. The cover strips should finish at the very top of the thigh armour where yours look to stop before it. I am not sure what type of glue you used, but if it was E6000, i would remove them and put some longer ones in their place. You still may need to do a small amount of trimming with those edges but the most of it would be covered. If you have used CA glue, those strips will be on there real good so if that is the case please don't try and remove them and go the trimming route.

Number 3 If you can rotate those shoulder bells forward to reduce the black area for you Centurion photos, its going to look fantastic.

And last of all, shorten the Thermal det clips up so they dont sit down below the belt line.

Centurion Suggestions:

Because Centurion photos show much more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Centurion might be seen there and not here. We try to point out all we can from what is seen but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. This is also where we try and get you in the best possible position for a successful Centurion application.

I think if you can address the areas above, you are in prime position for Centurion.

Make sure you go through the Level 3 requirements and photo check list make your adjustments and additions and we shall see you in Centurion review soon.

Congratulations once again :jc_doublethumbup:
