So while I was On-Call this evening, something caught my eye at a gas station that will help with my blaster upgrade

This iPhone charge cable will do nicely for my power cell cables!

I used "Fix-It Stik" to fill in what I needed to for the back lens to fit, and smoothed it out using the Dremel for the future crosshairs decal, that will go in before the red lens is secured.

It may look a little rough when you first paint - but after allowing 24 hours to dry it will look stellar, and will also be ready for weathering with some brass paint.

Next up, I've put in the sight decal. Using a toothpick I placed a small amount of LePage Ultra Gel just at the top of the red lens. This should hold the lens enough, when I start to secure the remainder of the lens.

Doing small amounts at a time, will help to avoid the CA fume fogging Joseph talked about earlier.

So if at first you don't succeed...

After placing a small tack area with CA Gel glue and allowing it to sit over night. I came back to the scope to find the small area I glued had started to fog like Joseph had mentioned earlier.

Using my thumb I rocked the lens to break the glue tack and removed the lens.

I used my thumb nail to scrape the CA fog from the lens to prevent scratches.

Once clean I figured out a new approach to anchor the lens without the fogging.

Using black electrical tape, cut to the width of the lens, I wrapped the lens. This will help to act as a gasket between the lens and the scope to prevent the CA from fogging again.
