The final reveal (noting that I have decided not to place white paint in the "Telescope M38" lettering - as "TELE" were the only letters that transferred in the cast from the maker.)

Counter and Power Cell Wires underway.

Using some more screws that I salvaged from the survey equipment I drilled out the necessary locations for installation.

Next I drilled the hole in the tips of the counter that hold the power cell wire.

I cannot express enough that when you are doing fine work on resin parts to pre-stamp you holes to work as a starting point for the end of your drill, and go slow. This will help prevent exploding resin if you hit a small air bubble.

Using the braided iPhone cable I bought from a gas station, I cut off one end. Then with wire strippers I removed the interior insulation and cut off all but one of the wires. This will give something for the CA glue to bond to.

Back to the counter, I need to grind out the area for the numbers and install a faux "reset button".

I then used a micro file to clean up my edges. There was some chipping of the resin, however I have some bondo to fill that later.

Right then, the plan of attack for the numbers area. I'm going to go looking for some decals that will fit the space as the ones from TrooperBay are a bit on the large side for this counter. For the viewing area I have a plastic face shield lens ready to be cut. That will be a story for the next update.
