I know that the first run isn't approved, being the "bobble head" but my understanding is that they remade it to fit approval specs. I know personally of at least 10 here locally all using AM2 sets and helmets all approved with ease... There are many here mainly because the seller is in the local Garrison.. And far more out there especially in the Northern California garrison where the other partner is based.
