Black screws on TD: Mandatory?

Recommended Posts

I was wondering if the black wood screws on the TD are mandatory for Centurion, because there's a close up of them in every Centurion application.

Thanks!

Not required based on the wording of the CRL. You could glue the clips on if you wish :D

Lol. Thanks

The reason I ask is because I got a TD from TM years ago and the clips are riveted.

I wouldn't know how to change that :-)

Perfect, no need to change it  :duim:

Actually, I don't know. I unpacked it, admired the the handiwork, and stowed it away :)

My guess is if it's from TM, they are just held on with pressure. They will be super hard to remove anyways as they should be very very tight.

But why need the endcaps to be removed?

I put in the screws in my TM detonator after everything else was finished and closed.

Being woodscrews, they grip the material and are good to go.

No need to fasten them from the inside ...

Good point!

But the washers on the inside woud be rattling around, I think.

Exactly, the internal part of the drilled out rivet would still be in there :D
