Sonnenschein
Since this topic came up, I'd like to continue it here and to share my insights Standard style (aka "stunt") Just protruding a little over the first knuckles, front part not glued. This provides stress relief. Alternative style (aka "hero) Glued all the way around, protruding clearly over the first knuckles. they're bigger, but thinner, thus they're more stretchy. I'll provide pics soon, my connection is a little slow right now.
troopermaster
I don't glue right to the edges of the hand plates. The red lines show where I glue. Edited January 22, 2022 by gmrhodes13 photo updated
gmrhodes13[Staff]
I used black silastic, very strong and flexible, added up to the edges and it is holding very well when flexed. I may add that I scuffed the back of the guards and the gloves with some sandpaper first

Geaux Saints[TK]
Two questions....1.) How do I know the hand plate is in the right spot? 2.) Do I need to paint under the hand plate up to the part that I glue?

Sonnenschein
That or she was feeling really lazy when she made this pair Either way, it's accurate Lazy?!??! Hilarious, Darth.... Hilarious. Right.the original weren't painted. I only saw 1 blurry screen shot were they seemed to be white, but you can't tell really. On 99,9% of the pic they were not painted.
