My son Zen was diagnosed with a Wilm's tumor in June of 2010 and following his treatments, Make-A-Wish was gracious enough to send us to Disney World that following March. While we were there we stayed at the Give Kids The World Village and I just cannot say enough about how amazing that place is and how much I, and my whole family appreciated the love and support we received there! My kids, their mother and grandparents returned last year to visit and volunteer for a day and I really wish my armor had been complete and I could've gone and trooped there with them! Kudos to you guys for going there and giving back to the community like that! I loved looking at your pics and reminiscing on our time there! Everything there is so much fun and just amazing! We especially loved the Ice Cream Shop and the game room! Thank you for your generosity and love for such a wonderful place! Great job guys!!!! flashpoint0214[TK] Posted October 11, 2012 Author Report Share Posted October 11, 2012 Hey Carlos, I am glad you could reminisce. I feel the same way about this place! I mean just amazing. This place is why i really wanted my armor. I heard about the village from my wife, she works at Disney. I thought it would be so cool to show up as a stormtrooper and put some smiles on some faces. I called them up and they told me the 501st already does that.So I researched the 501st. That is when I found out what great things the legion does. Well I had to get approvable armor and join.
