You can pick some up at your local fabric store too. The hardware store also has 1" grey foam bars that you can cut into the size you need, they are in the weather strip section.

An upolstery shop will have it, as well as most fabric/craft stores.

Google thefoamfactory.com I got all of the decorative foam panels for my recording studio from them; also ordered some for the TK lid ear pads I'm designing. They sell all kinds of foam; you can get a large mat and cut from it what you need. In the end, it would probably be cheaper per square foot than buying it elsewhere, and it's decently priced too.

I actually went looking for foam today for the first time. I ended up buying a mattress cover made of foam from Wallmart. $14 and MORE than enough foam than I could ever use. Dunno if it's any good or not but that's what I've done.
