I know this is probably a really stupid question that has been answered many times before but I cant seem to find a definitive answer using the search function, so here goes.

I am need to attach my latex painted handguards to the correct type rubber gloves, the question is will E6000 do the job just fine or is there a better adhesive for doing this?

Cheers, Ken

Use a kind of liquid superglue instead, like Loctite or krazy glue.

E-6000 will not do the job here since it's more akin to thicker hot glue when cured.

Karin herself has suggested loctite superglue for plastics. It has a primer pen that purifies both surfaces for the glue. I don't think the glue is special, just the primer pen.

You're right! The primer pen is special. You can use it with every other type of super glue.

For latex hand guards, you can skip the primer, which is only necessary for the white rubber ones

Superglue doesn't tend to flex. If your in the states using dap contact cement to bond latex plates to rubber gloves is a more secure way to go. You can get a small bottle of it at any home depot for 4.00. Apply some to the gloves and the plates. Wait a minute till is is sticky then just push the two pieces together. Bonded.
