To paint rivets or not to paint rivets thats the question.

1. Do you have paint the rivets on the thigh ammo belt, if so than what paint is best for the split rivets?

2. Do the snaps at the crotch and top right of abb plate face in towards you or out? Ive seen both in pics but just want to make sure im doing it right.

I think they face inside. So that you can snap a strap on the inside.

All rivets should be painted white. Testors works great cause you can find it at any hobby store.

And the crotch and ab snaps are pointing inwards (how else would you use them? ).

 

The split rivet in the crotch should not be painted btw, nor any of the snaps.

I took a rattle can of gloss white to my painted hardware before installing. To touch them up (after wrastling with my split rivets) I sprayed some of the same paint into an empty metal container and brushed it on.
