Sugru: the magical material. Ever heard of it?

So, I posted this over at MEPD, but I'm so stinking excited about it, I wanted to share here as well.

 

It looks incredible, and if it works as advertised, this could save my build as well as open up doors for modifying and customizing things.

 

 

 

I'd love to see what this community can dream up.

I have some but i have not opened it yet to try. I bought it from thinkgeek.

Now,that is interesting. Sounds like a perfect material for my hand guards....

Perhaps... I'd get some of this clay and finally glue the hand guards!

I used some of this this the other day to put a soft ring around the top of a hemet stand. It works pretty well but is no where near as tough as Silicone or latex. You can tear this stuff.

Get to it! But I actually think about making hand guards OUT of this sugru...

 

Sugru.. sounds like a japaneses manga character :)

That sounds like some really expensive hand guards....
