I found this link when I was browsing around on ebay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Stormtrooper-Sandtrooper-Armor-Star-Wars-Movie-Prop-VT-/270824138634?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3f0e60678a#ht_3063wt_932

Not sure if the guy is legit or not. I'm not interested in buying armor from him, but he pointed people in the direction of white armor for building his armor.

Just thought I would add this to the ebay list.

VT is a recast. Recast should be avoided. My best advice, is to look into the vendors that are at this link: http://forum.whitear...showtopic=11538

i'm a little embarrassed to say that i purchased a "recast"... because i didn't discover this awesome site at the time, but i do have to admit that VT looks really good. i'm just a wookie, so i can't speak from experience, but the details look good and "size" symmetry is great. i think it's much better than those FX brands (which have huge helmets...)! and it's made of ABS! which is much better than ps plastic.... at least me thinks.

not sure which VT is made from. anyone know?

Like Terry said above "Recast of AP and TE based parts."

Im trying to work out whats the difference from VT recasting and another member here who recasts from the same helmet lines, \

What makes it ok for one and not the other,,(honestly)?

I think staff makes the call based on who has the "rights" to sell armour based on what deal they made with TE or someone else who made the moulds. It's all very blurry.

To be a vetted seller on these boards you need to make it clear where your moulds come from, who OK'ed it and have several happy buyers before you can be recommended by the forum as a "trusted seller" who can sell openly on the boards. Or something like that.
