dashrazor Posted February 16, 2011 Report Share Posted February 16, 2011 for EU style armor (TKC/ICN,ext..) the ab has 5 buttons to get an accurate look. first i cut a piece of scrap hips and placed it next to the original ab button detail, then marked the approximate locations of the buttons on the scrap marking the 5th button as well.. after marking i drilled out the 5 holes then took the rounded button covers form some snaps (wal mart type) and painted them black just glue the snaps covers in place and you have a 5 button ab be sure to sand off any sharp edges before attaching the plate i will add filler at the top of the new plate before painting... this mod takes just a few minutes and cost next to nothing for the little extra detail..
