Darth Voorhees[501st] Posted March 21, 2010 Report Posted March 21, 2010 I know i had mentioned this before, but never got around to doing it. Nowthat my Sandy is in progress, once im done with that, im going to convert my current EIB TK from ANH-ESB. I was actually wondering if its possible to use the same armor and attain EIB for both ANH and ESB. I'd be getting a new bucket to do in the ESB style, and the only other difference i know of is the holster on the right and looped over the belt, and the E-11 being less the counter. Is that all id have to do? If so, id probably use the same actual armor with just another belt, holster, E-11 and helmet. So what say you Leaders? Do i need a whole new set of armor to go EIB for both? (i am currently an EIB ANH) Quote
firebladejedi[TK] Posted March 21, 2010 Report Posted March 21, 2010 You can use the same armour for both, many do. All you need is 1 set of armour, 2 helmets, 2 belt set ups with different holsters and 2 sets of gloves / hand plates And 2 blasters with the correct details... Quote
Daetrin[Admin] Posted March 21, 2010 Report Posted March 21, 2010 Hmmm...great idea for a sticky... Quote
Darth Voorhees[501st] Posted March 22, 2010 Author Report Posted March 22, 2010 Awesome, ill probably go that route then! Cuz my heart sometimes goes back to that ANH trooper heh. i have that resin TE or TE2 (whatever it is lol) casting that i got from my buddy that i may use to make into an ESB bucket. hand plates are a snap and ill just mod another hasbro to ESB specs. I made my holster, so ill just make another...im learning how to make belts with my sewing machine so that will be easy also. But first i need to finish my Sandy! hehe Thanks guys! Quote
FIVE[501st] Posted March 22, 2010 Report Posted March 22, 2010 But first i need to finish my Sandy! hehe At least you have your priorities right. ESB = rockin' though! (I'm on my way there now as well.) Quote

FIVE[501st] Posted March 22, 2010 Report Posted March 22, 2010 Oh come now - there are a lot of "cross dressers" on both boards I was one for a while... and will be again soon!!! The Emperor did it (senator / sith lord) why not us? Quote
TK bondservnt[501st] Posted March 26, 2010 Report Posted March 26, 2010 I used a reversable belt, an e-11 with a removable hengstler, handplates and buckets. and a removable set of holsters- for my dual EIB. would it be possible to go 3 EIB with 2 ANH versions both stunt and hero, and esb? I was thinking I'd go EIB ANH stunt to go along with my hero version. it would have another belt, holster and helmet and handplates. what say the bosses? I already have my stunt AP helmet shipping on friday! (that makes 3 buckets and counting!) Quote
Daetrin[Admin] Posted March 26, 2010 Report Posted March 26, 2010 I'd say you can go two different versions of EIB. The 'cohorts' don't differentiate between ANH Stunt/Hero - they were one EIB that we split for ease of viewing though. I believe you'd have the most efficient way of doing three versions of the suit. If you wanted to take it up a notch, you'd also get the comlink & grappling hook so you can do either "Han" or "Luke" versions of the Hero. Sweet grab on the Stunt helmet. I'm down to just my Hero/ESB/Sandy now, and need to get a stunt again. Quote
Bonsey1 Posted June 1, 2013 Report Posted June 1, 2013 Are the shoulder bells with a swoop accepatable for ESB 501st and clearance and EIB status? Currently converting to ESB too...helmet, belt, handplates blaster. Have some nice new biceps but they have a swoop...obviously will not use if not acceptable. Quote
TK bondservnt[501st] Posted July 19, 2013 Report Posted July 19, 2013 I would not be able to do a luke hero version, as paul mentions, and I'm working hard on my body to get back into shape. too much sitting in a chair and trimming armor! I do want a better Hero helmet, and now it's probably possibe to have the ABS EFX hero lid as a way of covering that element. Quote
