Expert Infantryman Profile Page Issue

Hi,

 

I am using firefox 3.6. At the Expert Infantryman page, whenever I click on a trooper to view his profile. My firefox window will automatically minimise itself to a small window. Same thing over at MEPD as well.

 

Secondly pictures don't load when I am inside the trooper EI profile page.

 

Thirdly, the 501st profile link on the EI page don't work as well.

All this will be addressed at the new website right?

Yes - we moved over the image library and while i fixed some things others I missed. We're doing a final quality check on the new Home site (it's feature complete), so once that's done the old EIB page will be obsolete anyway.

I'm running firefox too, and don't have any of these issues. I'll wait for a web guru for an official response.

Thanks for the prompt response guys. For the new EIB page, just a suggestion, is it possible to sort the troopers with a click of a button, accordingly to Garrisons? I think it will be cool to know how many EIB troopers a garrison has.

It should. All the data is in an XML file so doing these kinds of filtering/sorting should be easy enough. It's on the list after the Home site launches.

Whoa, a couple questions arise for me here:

I can't click on any of the troopers on this EIB page ( http://www.whitearmor.net/eib/ ), is there supposed to be a profile link for every entry? Doesn't work for me...at all. Only static pics and text underneath them.

 

What "EI profile page" is gordonator referring to? And what pictures? I never saw those anywhere!

 

And lastly, there is a link from this legendary EI profile page to the members' matching 501st profile? Never saw that as well. What am I doing wrong?!

Nevermind - I'm stupid, sorry. Was probably only my pop-up blocker...works now.

And with "works" I mean "doesn't work properly" exactly as Gordon described.
