TKDUEUNO Posted February 22, 2010 Report Posted February 22, 2010 Damn, I LOVE 3D!!! And anaglyphs are so easy to do! Quote
Obievon[501st] Posted February 22, 2010 Report Posted February 22, 2010 This is the coolest thing I've seen in a long time. Absolutely fantastic. Now you have to tell us how you did it. Quote
TKDUEUNO Posted February 22, 2010 Author Report Posted February 22, 2010 Small tutorial on how to realize an anaglyph for red/green glasses: 1-take a digital camera and a tripod 2-position the object you want to photograph and take the first picture (right eye) 3-move left about 4 inches while keeping the object centered and take the second picture (left eye) 4-open both images in photoshop 5-select the red channel from left pic and copy in into the red channel of right pic (ctrl-a/ctrl-c/ctrl-v) 6-by moving the red channel right or left you make the image pop out or go into the screen 7-lower the contrast and increase brightness to make the photo more pleasant and minimize ghosting. 8-crop the image to cut out bad parts That's it! snoopy trooper[TK] Posted February 22, 2010 Report Posted February 22, 2010 that was way cool i had to go get my Dr Who glasses Quote
RogueTrooper[TK] Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 Very cool There are software programs that you can get for PC and Mac to do 3D pix and 3D video. ADYWAN (fan editor) on his DVD9 of STAR WARS EP. IV REVISITED did the Jabba The Hutt scene in 3D back in 2006/2007. Quote
synaptyx Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 I'm just disappointed I couldn't lift the bucket 'n' blaster out of the screen. Very cool! Quote
thepoka Posted February 23, 2010 Report Posted February 23, 2010 really nice depth on the blaster Quote

Eric Posted March 2, 2010 Report Posted March 2, 2010 wishes he had kept the cool 3d glasses from the theater those black ones? thats what i used, you'd probably need the retro ones. they work better for pics like that. different types of 3d glasses.... Quote
Sergiotron Posted March 2, 2010 Report Posted March 2, 2010 I can see it! and it's awesome!!! You must have one accurate flat green Stormtrooper lense and one accurate bubbble red Darth Vader lense to see it Quote
Plastic Fury[TK] Posted March 3, 2010 Report Posted March 3, 2010 Yeah you need the retro style ones, I tried using the newer style (kept them from Avatar a few weeks back) and it does not work. Now where are those old ones lol? Quote
Eric Posted March 3, 2010 Report Posted March 3, 2010 haha... me too. great movie, but seemingly lame glasses. lol Quote
Alex Buechel Posted March 3, 2010 Report Posted March 3, 2010 HMM maybe the discovery shark week ones might work Quote
