In actuality this is a April fools joke that is the combination of my love for Star Wars and Gundam. It all started when i saw on Reddit that a artist had made some Gundam TK’s from a model kit and it gave me the inspiration to do this. https://m.blog.naver.com/kunyho78/220594569300 My old Tk costume, that has taken me up mountains, but is now nearing the end of it’s useful life was gladly sacrificed for this passion project. The hard part has been keeping it a secret for over half a year since i finished the costume in October. Trooping this costume this weekend and i intend to have a laugh.

Thanks for the advice. I used the above method and i had no problem. Instead of primer i used silver and applied it with short light coats till it was completely covered. No reaction, nothing.

I thought it best to ask since i am tired off messing up whenever i try and paint a doopydoo kit or part. My question is this, what do i have to do to the resin parts before i can paint them? I ask because as stated above the paint reacts with something and causes me to get mad at it. Thanks in advance.

Going a little off topic but might i ask what is used for the barrel tip on a ROTJ blaster?

I can say quite honestly that AM armour is great. I've almost finished my set. Two more straps on the shoulder bells and that's it. As has been commented it has nice thick plastic and the detail is lovely. Also with all the extra bits they give you you can go either ESB or ANH or even SD Can't say enough about this armour.

The cantina band music is what i normally hum when i'm working. No idea why and i've been doing it for years but at odd occasions i will just start humming it. First ones great, second ones just plain wired.

Might i ask what the width of the T track is on the rotj blaster as it appears to be wider than the standard T track.

It's blank on the back. I got curious and pulled it out very carefully from it's slot so as not to damage the box.

That one got me and i asked the maker about it. It's meant to come together in a similar manner to the ab plate so that there is no gap and so that it reduces the amount of black showing. Of course it's entirely up to you but that's what i'm doing with my set.
