  1. In November I did a test fit with my armor using Blue Painters and Masking tape. I did this to see a basic fit with my under armor. I am in the process of trying to lose 20 pounds. Buy working on the armor and seeing how the fit is, it is inspiring me to lose weight. My problem is around my waist. The Arms, Biceps, Thighs and shins fit good with no problem.
  2. I am going to fix the Anh "Finishing Strips". After 5 months off. I was studying what I was doing and I saw what I should have done.
  3. With Spring here in the States and Winter over. I have the enthusiam to finish up my AP build! Now I can finish up gluing outside. E6000 fumes are too powerful to be used indoors! Plus I like to have the glue parts sit outside for a few days to air out. I was having problems posting before. Hopefully everythings is allright. Here is my progress so far. I have all the pieces cut out except the Sniper knee and Helmet. I am saving that for last.
  4. The "Finishing\Covering Strips" are the strips that cover the seams where you glue the armor together. Andy
  5. I have been searching. Can anyone point me to the link of the size of the ANH Back Cover Finishing Strips? Thanks. Andy
  6. I am after a Winter hiatus gluing my AP thighs now. I am using Retangular magnets from "Home Depot" I was using the circular haevy duty magnets from Joanne Faberics. They were a pain they kept fying off and my fingers and hands were getting pinched and bloodied. After 24 hours I take the clamps and magnets off. It says the Temp range to use is between 70-80 degrees. I have used it between 40-80 degrees F. The problem with E6000 is the strong fumes. When I come in the house the fumes are on my sweatshirt. The stuff is GOOD!
  7. That is IMPRESSIVE!!!!!!!!!! Andy
  8. http://www.hengstler.com/en/products/shop.php?catID=1004&cat=Counter I found this while searching on the Hengstler.com website. If you scroll down to the bottom the counter is "478 plug in type counter. It looks like the one that is used for the E11. I do not know if anyone has tried this route before. I will keep you posted. I sent email to "Hengstler" to see how to go about getting a 478 plung in type counter. Here is the specs data link http://www.hengstler.com/gfx/file/shop/counter/counter_typ478_en.pdf Andy
  9. That is what I picked up. I was studying it afterwards and I noticed that it was a little slanted and had a hook to the side. I was wondering if I picked up the right one?
  10. I picked this up at Lowes yesterday and another type as well! I did not realize how big it is! Andy
  11. Terry, I had both th "Laser Rifle" and Han Solo's Blaster when they came out. It was not called E11 when the rifle came out. What was interesting is that you had to press the trigger and a button on the grip to make it work. the sound was a high pitch "Buzz" noize. The scope did not have the "crosshair" on it. the clip on the front bottom that kept it folded up broke easy. I had a lot of fun with it. I think when it was folded up it was called "Sneak attack". It was about $12.00 or $15.00 U.S. when I got mine in 1978. Andy
  12. ---------- It is back up now. Andy
  13. Impressive! I am in the begining stages of my builds. I am making three. 1 DoopyDoo's Hasbro mod and two pipe builds. Andy
  14. This needs to be pinned for future reference.
  15. I just recieved my Doopy doo's Hasbro E11 conversion kit and also a E11 pipe kit from them is one the way. Is E6000 good to put the kit together or should I get something else? Also, do I need to wash the parts before I begin? Thanks. Andy
  16. Is anyone making rensin E11 cylinders? I am in the process of a E11 pipe build and would like to get them. Thanks. Andy
