  2. Thanks! The representative is asking me for the part number there are apperently 14 different model numbers according to the specs. I have to use a guess because I do not know the voltage? If any one has a real one is the voltage on it ora a part number. Because the representative is going to give me a quote? Andy
  3. I am about to get a quote for the counters. Were the counters 6 or 7 digits? Andy

  5. LOOKS GREAT!!!!!! Keep us updated. Are going TD or TK? I was having problems lining up my AP build myself. I just assembled my thighs last week. I tried to line them up at the top. Thank God for ANH "Cover Strips" and Moddeling irons! Andy
  6. I don't know if this was tought of, tried or used before. Here is a mod that might help out troopers who gain or lose in their mid section or for connecting the ab and back piece. This idea popped in my mind a few weeks ago. I thought of this by looking at my hockey Helmet. There is something on a hockey helmet that can be of help in assembling or modding the ab section of the armor. If you are going to use snaps on the abb for EIB or for support. You have to get some "Heavy Duty Snaps" and a "Snap Fastiner" or use the "Hammer Pin" tool to connection them together or you can use screws. On the Hockey Helmet you have two straps that connect the "Face Mask" to the "Helmet". On the ends of the "Straps" are two "Adjustable Fastiners" that connect to the metal snap to hold the helmet in place. Also, I discoverd a adjustable "Chin Strap" from "Addias" that is used on Baseball Helmets. I think this is a plus because the straps are adjustable and the screws are removable. I have not tested the fastners on the snaps that I have. I found this at "Dicks Sporting Goods" store here in Western Pennsyvania. You can look for them if you have a Sporting goods store that sells Hockey Equiptment or a Hockey Supply store. I hope this helps out. Andy

  8. I have the front of the thighs glued. I wished I used blue painters tape one one of them. One turned out ok and the other there is a gap. That is what the ANH "Finishing\Cover Strips are for. For the "But Seams" I used plastic signs from 'Harbor Freight Tools". I used a wider strip for the "But Seam" for more support. The Magnets are 'heavy Duty" Rectangle ones from "Home Depot". I like them better than the smaller Silver round ones from "JoAnn Fabrics". I did not like how they would pinch my hands and left them "Bloody". I am glad that I bought a "moddeling Iron". I know I will be using it next.
  9. In November I did a test fit with my armor using Blue Painters and Masking tape. I did this to see a basic fit with my under armor. I am in the process of trying to lose 20 pounds. Buy working on the armor and seeing how the fit is, it is inspiring me to lose weight. My problem is around my waist. The Arms, Biceps, Thighs and shins fit good with no problem.
  10. I am going to fix the Anh "Finishing Strips". After 5 months off. I was studying what I was doing and I saw what I should have done.
  11. With Spring here in the States and Winter over. I have the enthusiam to finish up my AP build! Now I can finish up gluing outside. E6000 fumes are too powerful to be used indoors! Plus I like to have the glue parts sit outside for a few days to air out. I was having problems posting before. Hopefully everythings is allright. Here is my progress so far. I have all the pieces cut out except the Sniper knee and Helmet. I am saving that for last.
  12. The "Finishing\Covering Strips" are the strips that cover the seams where you glue the armor together. Andy
  13. I have been searching. Can anyone point me to the link of the size of the ANH Back Cover Finishing Strips? Thanks. Andy
  14. I am after a Winter hiatus gluing my AP thighs now. I am using Retangular magnets from "Home Depot" I was using the circular haevy duty magnets from Joanne Faberics. They were a pain they kept fying off and my fingers and hands were getting pinched and bloodied. After 24 hours I take the clamps and magnets off. It says the Temp range to use is between 70-80 degrees. I have used it between 40-80 degrees F. The problem with E6000 is the strong fumes. When I come in the house the fumes are on my sweatshirt. The stuff is GOOD!
