true that those be high for sandys but its a little too high for a TK it does look like a fraction too high speaking relatively to my artist eye of criticism compared to the movie photos unless your going for the bump like that second photo reference maybe take a pic of it on the side?

yep snaps and cloth/elastic is the best way i've seen

well i was thinking of bathroom means as well and the abs piece would just slide right off leaving me like the picture just my bottom half which with belt i just slide that down like a normal pants granted thigh armor over shin armor and as for sitting i can sit and move the cod piece up more then if it is attach to the abs. and if granted i want to sit for a long period of time i would just completely take the cod and butt off via the velcro and sit without worring of cracking stuff from em...easier then taking the full abs off

hey there =D i'ma gonna try to help as much as i can since this place help me alot too and here is the system i have reguards the cod and butt pieces please excuse my lack of pictures at the moment so i devise a drawing that i hope you can understand i didnt really go the route of snaping on the cod or butt piece of the armor like what dmian post above me stated for the sole reason of trying to sit in the armor lol plus with the chunky thighs that part with elastic band on bottom be like a weggie galor unless you length it right which at this point i went with cloth since the elastic kept snaping the snaps off <.< =/ i bought my armor form someone here and was taller then me so the legs needed alot of work to suit me but if you have a kit that was never modified your better then me at that point since all i did was strap velcro on the outside and then slap a piece strip to cover the hole on my thigh and shin backs (in diagram) I'll try to post a pic when i get it on me later but yeah this is my system so >.> yeah dont take it as expert but i am just throwing my ideas out

yeah its more of not what armor is it to be accepted but where you are gonna buy the armor...and i dont think there be a "banned" list but rather a reference of not to buy from sellers list. For the most part of what I know is that the armors are fan made and the ones from Rubies deemed "license" version are well, not accepted right out of the box per say. Either or I would say all the armor is going to have to be tailored to you unless you pay someone to have it tailored\ so expect time and money consumption for it =/ but if you want something that has been finish and approved try the sell/trade section of the fourm topic and then try to work/mod on it to fit ya (its what I did >.>)

Yeah i used a hard hat liner too and i have no problems with it and well i have a stubby neck so my helmet clashish with my chest plate so i dont get much wobbling lol...and i have a big noggin for the MR

eh not to sure which year i believe was Anime Expo 2004 or 2005 there were three stormtroopers hanging about and well =) they were cool just lounging about and well thats where it started my fascination of armored costomes. Hopefully i can finish moding Most of my TX in time for 2009 o.o so if those same stormtroopers are there XD i hope to be an addition

I checked with frys at my place and they dont particularly have that one =( and i looked at the connectors for cordless phone batteries which are either too large or not the right sizing of hole spaceage tried to see if my super old computer had it and it didnt.... any of ya know the name for it i'm not to savvy on the terms?

=) cool i bought the rubbers and tried it on for like a whole day and it seems to be no probs =3 thanks ya all for the opinons

yeah if all else goes wrong with the rubbers thats the one i am going to >.> right now i am on low budget so not even a penny can be wasted

yeah i did try the ones from -------- and its pretty decent since i can adjust it how i want i pretty much have a stubby neck so mine was pretty small

yeah i had the same problem which my underamor type shirt had some kind of rubber coating logo which well if i tried to iron it out it well kinda melt the fabric *now has a little test hole* and was water proofed so the sharpey pen didnt work. I paint the sucker with black acrylic paint =D so now it isnt glossy white its glossy black lol. You can try the whole patch method but if your like me and well sewing deficient then either the spray paint or paint paint would do the next best

lol yeah i was be thinking about that but i am willing to give it a go since i have access to em easier *points a homedepot across the street* though i dont sweat as much in the hands and i know the gloves cause i wash the dishes with em yellow ones in super hot water so i recon i'd be use to it

Ok since i didnt want to cause a whole nother post (original posting in quotes) on just gloves here is round two! Mom of mine found these at walmart --------- would they work? seems to be a cotton/polyester mix also my under armor shirt is long enough to stick over the end of the glove if that causes conflict
