I am going to build a page on my site that lists Makers or "Vendors" If you have an item that you make and you would like to be listed on my site send me your contact info, price of item including shipping worldwide (if desired) and a good pic of the item. I will list it on my site for free. This way we have a place to go to for everything and everyone is involved. Sound COOL or what!!!!??? What do you think?? Send your info to applingfamily@cox.net and I will post it this week Mike
  12. TK-4510 reporting in. Current weight 191 lbs Starting weight May 6, 2010 - 202 lbs Weight loss - 10 lbs in 30 days. limited to 20 grams of carbs a day. No pasta, Milk, bread, rice, sugar, soda, cake, donuts, candy, etc.... taking a daily multi vitamin. It works..... Oh and no calorie restrictions or exercise. I have been lowering my calories as a side effect of watching the carbs, but its not intentional. Atkins works for me.
  13. Thanks guys. Like I was writing to coop in our PM. I understand how it may have seemed like gouging at first glance. But I am really only offering another alternative. I actually made this manual over 2 years ago. I just now decided to make it available because I thought it was cool . No worries, we are all friends here.
  14. OK. Now you can buy the whole combo pack with neck trim, brow trim, lens, fasteners, ear pinstripe AND the 24 page manual for $45.00 shipped worldwide. So the manual is absolutely free when you buy the whole pack. MUAHAHAHAHHAHHHAAA!! http://members.cox.net/appstronaut/supplies.html
  15. OK...This is about me. Since you have a whole 20 posts you dont know whats happened here the last 4 years or whats available to you RIGHT NOW. All my tutorials ARE free!! Theres my TE2 Stunt build, OMG build which I did for FREE, TE2 Hero conversion build and my AP ESB build. Then there is at least 30 minutes of downloadable VIDEO on how to assemble and paint a helmet. I have also contributed tons of real prop photos that I have taken at CIV and Comic-Con. I have built at least 100 helmets and my experience is something I have always shared with EVERYONE on these boards. We ALL do. THERE IS TONS OF FREE INFO ON THIS BOARD. Do you need a manual?? No...you can get it ALL from this site. EVERYTHING you need is here for free. You wanna print it out? Scroll to the bottom of the first page of the threads I just listed and print them out for free. Download my videos and make a DVD or just watch them streaming from the web. FREE!!! Now.....You want a 24 page full color manual on how to do basic assembly that lists the history of the TE2 helmet, all tools required and has many close up shots. A manual that you can have with you on your work bench?? A manual that will still be around when the threads die away? You can have the one I designed and spent several weeks assembling...The one I had printed and bound...for $15.00. That includes the $3-4.00 I will pay in shipping and includes the envelope I will buy and my time to the post office and my efforts. Still a rip off to you? With all due respect, dont buy it. MIke TK-4510 P.S. If you buy the neck and brow rubber trim, lens, fasteners, and ear tape....you get the manual for free .
  16. Take a welders shield. Just below the mounting holes score a horizontal line from one side to the other using a ruler and an exacto knife. Measure about 2.75 to 3 inches down from that line and score another horizontal line from one side to the other using a ruler. Bend and snap the lens - its easy. Now that you have the lens, hold it with four fingers against the inside of your helmet right between the eyes. Make sure that its seated against the eyes firmly. While applying this pressure, lay the helmet down on its side and mark the inside of the shield with a sharpie where the left ear screws are. Remove the lens from the helmet and lay it on a flat surface or drill press. Take care not to scratch the lens. Take an electric drill and drill out those screw holes on the left side. Now fit the lens inside the helmet again. This time push the lens into the eye sockets by applying pressure from the right side. The lens will distort a little. While the pressure is applied, mark the right side ear screws. Remove the lens again and drill the right side. Now fit the lens inside the helmet by slipping it onto the screws. The tight fit will hold it in place. Take 4 nuts the same size as the ones used for the ears and secure the lens onto the the ear screws. Thats it. If you wanna get fancy take a sharpie and draw a cut out for your nose on the lens and then cut that out with a pair of short sharp scissors or exacto knife.
  17. Nice Job Kevin. And you are correct on the biceps I think.
  18. I use a welders shield and attach the strip to the inside screws holding the ears. I cut out the nose area so it wont rub.
  19. Yeah I know. I am going to lower the carbs with Atkins and after the weight loss I am going to be using a glycemic index for my permanent diet.
