4205.
Love the lens idea, may use that myself as I'm having a little trouble with mine at the moment.
Thanks for sharing your pics, lids looking great.
John,
This are used to take profiles of things before cutting.
I.E. skirting boards etc.
You can get plastic ones from B&Q, but there not as good as the prongs are wider so you lose detail.
The metal one above will be a better option.
Most hardware shops sell them.
Nice!!
Great piece Joe.
Anymore pics? I wouldn't mind some close ups of the mic tips.
They look simular scale etc to mine.
Did the previous owner use silicone on the ears?
I'm guessing they are sealed domed nuts and bottoming out before you can tighten them?
How about using washers?
Or upgrading the nuts to steel nyloc nuts.
John,
Last year in the November MEM, he had a little plaque on a table saying he did Vader and also worked on the stormtroopers.
He wasn't in the star signings last year, he was on a prop store stand.
I use a clip for my binders

But yours look bigger than mine.
You could try a loop of velcro but it's gonna be a pain in the bum removing and attaching them.
Great ideas.
When cutting the elastic, I always run a lighter under the frayed edge to melt them.
Nothing worse than elastic which is being pulled apart.
Hey Scott,
As paul said above, I also sell these. www.tk7903.com
Just to throw a spanner into your confusion, mine are excatly the same as the ones used by SDS.
(not cast from them) just used measurements etc to make my own.
Pictures are on my site.
