Stay away from E-Bay Kits, u should get in contact with your local 501st, they can help u learn from where to get kits from. Also stick around there (FISD) and do research and u will find out the difference about NO-NO kits Vs yes kits.

I researched for 3 years ( pretty much had everybodys contact info of "Whos Who" in the TK world, at that time) and then i finally made up my mind and sent a letter to Paul as DL ( first time he was DL, actually there was no FISD when i started doing research!!!) in it was all the info i found about TK suppliers. I asked him to see what he thought and if there were any suggestions or things i missed. Why 3 yrs u ask i saved up and ordered and got every single thing i needed in one afternoon ( God bless PayPal) so i got every thing in the same week and finished it in one week, applied to the 501st, sent pics to the FISD to apply for EI, then i had to wait for Mr. Spanos to give me the A-OK. once i got it i applied for OutPost and Notafied Scott that i was 501st..... so i got 501st member ship, EI status and New OutPost. in one strike!!!!!! Good times!!!!!

Just re name your original post "Squiller Fans" and make it a entire thread about theses, ppl will chime in. I just used standard 8 ohm computer fans attach. to one 12volt d batt, for my FX i used 2 fans , but i think i will ads 2 more to my AP and ATA Builds.

Yep i did my AP like this. Eye-wise i was more genourus with the bump but other then that i trimmed about the same. Teeth-wise the same nice square gaps that were filed with fine files.... but many of the best looking helmets have both squared or rounded but remember "its your helmet" so how ever u go it will be perfect!!!!!! Looks Awesome so far!!!!

My thoughts exactly!!! until i did the math and came to scare find that between snaps that i tried to put, plus the ones i had to fix after every troop..... i found that i had spend more then 1/2 of the price on the lever system!!!! and once u see how easy the lever system is u will start to use and place snaps on many other things!!!!! samr thing happened to me with rivets!!!! i dont use screws any more if its going to be permant i use rivits for hobbys and over all house use..... but see what wroks for u.

I ran into this problem with the cheesy system pick and hammer that came with the snaps, i finally opted to buy the lever system 25$ and never looked back.

Try to get two sets one for spring/summer and the other one fall/winter. get them with that sweat wick technology!

Suit ( 3 piece, dress shirt & pants,tie) and labcoat. I can use scrubs but i hate them!!!!!! ( during med school, the health code stated that because i was so hairy i had to shave my chest,back & fore arms.......( but i could use my beard if i had a Tie-On Surgical Mask) can u imagine that!!!!! So i stay clear from them if i can.......

I talked to ATA about size houseing issues, i am 6ft 220lb. ATA told me that he wroked on areas in the armor to be able to house him, at 6 ft 1 inch (i forget this weight but he is lighter then i am). so if u are our size it should nt be a problem,and if u are thinner or smaller,there are minor mods to do to house U. i am waiting for $$ clearence from Paypal and i should get mine soon, so if i can fit in it......this will be one more positive check of the many that ATA is racking in!!!!!

AWESOME I am in the same boat, my armor is being made as i type, and i am waitng for PP to clear my bank transfer!!!!!Dont forget to start a WIP (work in progress) thread once u get your helmet!!!!!

Very well but!!!! Slowly but surely things that today are A-ok with "YOU" in regards with your armor are going to start to bug u as time goes by and u will start to tinker with your armor almost after ever troop,and with all the new ideas and armor build methods that are beeing used. So sooner or later it wont be strange if your d-ring get modified by a funcional one...... but like Dragas said its a personal choice.
