Could be...... Thou considering u have a mod MRCE u could have it and leave it as a idealized helmet display and u could get a new helmet...... but your idea is also great, piece it together over time....... i think this way u could save up for a new suit or save up for some other costume idea that manifest it self.

I think the leg battery belt would need up dating, and the cod piece looks really really flat. first time i see this armor, and i thought i was one of the old guys here.......

thx Paul!!!! the thing is that like 2 or 3 weeks ago i got a 2four 1 , pauldron and shoulder pouch, granted it came out a little more but still great price. Not from what i remember when i did my research looooonggggg time ago. other then the ovious greeblies, the esb had a second box sling thingy in the front/side, the t-track were arrange different and there were 2 flash/heat vents,on each side of the muzzel. and 1-2 other things i am not remembering.

One idea!!! There a new boot source out ( will put link and name once i remember lol) but they seem to be really nice and professional. i would see if they would be willing to just make one boot or 2 left and there price is awesome. i really thing that might be a option. * looking for link......

Theres that rubberized thing ppl use to paint the bed of there pick ups with. many have been saying it awesome, u dry brush on and let it dry. dont remember the name........

I agree with smitty, in a ideal world the idea to go HIPs/helmet, abs armor is probably the best as a all around thing. and like paul said if u are into normal trooping, visiting hospital,doing charety work, standing and looking prutty hips is awesome,great detail. Now if u are playing to run with the bulls in pamplona Spain FX is you armor lol LOL U get the idea. Do some more research on both HIPS and ABS, analyze what u think or want to do with the trooping thing and then balance which will suit u best, remember that at the end of the day after the endless rounds down empty corridors and sub setions were ever u end up being deployed, u are the one that will be waering the armor

I only had this ( notv this one but a really beefy one. pliars, hammers, and some industrial sheetmeatal sheers etc and one of thous metal saws....granted it may have taken longer but u can do it, i used the clamp fo everything really hellped

Just found this thread, i was going to add that our DL Paul is 6ft and slim build and sports a TE2 and wears it very well. TE2 is a awesome way to go!!!!! ure set up!!!

Stay away from from Ebay!!!!!!! This armor vendor is a no no he has been kick out of here and many place. Use your search engine and research why. Plz dont take this the wrong way but every thread u have started so far, u would have found your own answer if u did research. U can make a thread out of every thing and not do any work yes..... but that will only make ppl stop helpping u out becuase u are not showing and real or serious intrest in doing your own work. PLZ dont go or use Ebay as a place to look for armor ( research why so that u find out, why ppl keep telling u not to go or use ebay) Asking for our opinion is great, but u need to get one of your own and that will only happen if u educate your self in the stormtrooper world and thats here in the FISD not E-bay or any other place on line, start here and only go to links that u find in here. And like i said plz dont take this as a attack, i just dont want u to get 8 balled and tagged as the "e-bay kid" After u make the 501st and EIB and have speent some time trooping, come back to this and your first threads nd u will see for your self what i am trying to steer u away from......

Remember that Knowledge is power, read the threads and use the search engine. ever question u can think off has at least one if not many threads. on avarage it takes around a month of constant reading to get your bearing right and know whcich way is up. be patient and read, we were all clueless at one point in time some of us didnt have the FISD when we started to do research and every thing was done there PM like something illegal , in the shadows........ try to take advantage of this Board and the great ppl that have contributed such wealth of knowlegde. If ur patient and do your home work it will be awesome. About the FX armor just make sure its the absolute best armor for u, not just because ppl told u to get that. I have a FX but only because at that time it was truly the best one "FOR ME" Good luck.

AWESOME!!!! The only thing i can nit pick ( but then again i am OCD about this) is raise the thermal boxs till them almost touch the belt. granted that not needed but the raosed thermal boxs is my thing....... looks very good!!
